Magic Band Delivery to Pixar Place Hotel

I live in Australia and therefore can't pre order Magic Bands (they won't deliver to Australia). We arrive into Hawaii on a Sunday and so our computer location will show us as being on US soil so we should be able to order one then (I really want the Winnie the Pooh one which is available through the Disney Store). I want to get it delivered to the Pixar Place Hotel which we will check into the following Saturday (a whole week away). My questions are:

1. Will this be enough time for a delivery from Disney to arrive before we check in (5 working days)
2. Will the hotel hold the package for us and if so how do I let them know that it will be arriving and that I need it held until the Saturday when we check in

Any experiences or input would be greatly appreciated. :thanks:

You might want to take note of this thread. I think its a gamble.

It would be nice if Amazon would be allowed to put in some shipping lockers somewhere on Disneyland property so people could ship there. Here is the map that shows Amazon pickup lockers near Disneyland. All seem to be a few blocks away. You could uber to them if needed. It is also possible you can get the magic band you are looking for on site in downtown disney?

Thanks so much for your input. I would be ordering from Disneys website not Amazon so hopefully their delivery times might be a bit different. When I order something from their Australian website the deliveries usually arrive to my house within two to three days so hopefully it would be the same in the US?

That's a truly impressive shipping time for Disney Store. It's not uncommon for it to take 7-10 days, and I'm in the US!

Really, oh gosh perhaps I shall have to rethink my plans. Maybe on the Disney US website if I put the shipping address as being in the US it might allow me to order without actually being on US soil. Maybe I can give that a go and I can order a couple of weeks in advance of us arriving to allow more time. Thanks for your input.

I would try posting a picture of the band you want on these boards. There are a lot of really helpful posters that visit the parks frequently. I’m sure there are some that wouldn’t mind checking a couple of the shops on property for you, to see if they’re selling the band you want. As previously mentioned, it would be so much easier to buy it on site at the resort.

Except what if it goes off sale before December?

The bands that they sell in the parks are normally sold for months & months, some for years. If they have to wait until December to buy it anyways, they can wait until closer to their travel date to ask.

Not sure if it would work for you and whether you have considered it, but have you considered using a mail forwarder? We visited the parks from Australia last October, and in the lead up to our trip my wife really wanted the Robin Hood MagicBand+, which released with the Decades Collection in July. While I was happy to wait until we arrived at the parks, we ordered hers from the Disney Store, and shipped it to Australia using MyUS.com.

Obviously it adds a bit to the cost, but we decided it was worth it to guarantee getting this band

Thank you so much for that. I had no idea these sort of services existed. So often I see things on the US Disney website I would love to buy but can't because they won't ship to Australia. This is great and good to hear that you have used them and they were reliable. Thanks again.
