Magic 2020 Drydock, any details yet?

I just got news that our stateroom category is changing due to the drydock of the Magic in September 2020. I haven't been able to find any other details, but I imagine the upgrades might be similar to what the Wonder just got. Has anyone heard any news/rumors about the drydock? Any wishes? I'm hoping there is a new themed Lounge like the one outside Tiana's on the Wonder, and that they replace Dreams with a new show.

are you in one of theses rooms 8026, 8028, 8036, 8038, 8040, 8042, 8526, 8528, 8536, 8538, 8540, and 8542. and sailing on the transatlantic or after October 2 2020.

Disney Cruise Line announced this morning that 12 existing staterooms on the Disney Magic are being converted into Category V, Concierge Family Oceanview Staterooms with Verandah accommodations.  The upgrades to the furnishings and amenities will be completed by the October 2, 2020 sailing on the Disney Magic.

Stateroom numbers include: 8026, 8028, 8036, 8038, 8040, 8042, 8526, 8528, 8536, 8538, 8540, and 8542.

These staterooms will be open for sale as Category V, Concierge Family Oceanview Staterooms with Verandah beginning January 30, 2020.

• Reservations made for the staterooms listed above for sailings prior to October 2, 2020 will remain as Category 4A, Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah.
• Reservations booked for sailings October 2, 2020 and beyond will be treated as Category V, Concierge Family Oceanview Staterooms with Verandah.

Concierge Guest Services will be reaching out to guests and Travel Partners with guests booked in the affected staterooms for sailings October 2, 2020 and beyond to advise of the category change and review Concierge benefits.

Yes! Wrote about it in the other post. That's how I found out about the drydock, Disney Concierge called me. When I picked up I was like, you must have called me by mistake, we're not booked concierge! And then the CM let me know. I had been toying with postponing this cruise for a year but now we're definitely going to find a way to make it work!

LoL we booked a 4A gty for the WBTA what's the chances of getting one of these rooms assigned to us... slim to none but there's a chance!

I had that thought after I realized it would be right before the WBTA. That would be the ultimate score! Especially if you booked it with an onboard booking discount!

Any speculation on what else they may do during the dry dock? I’m sure general maintenance/upkeep though having just gotten off the Magic I’ll say it was in excellent shape I thought. I know the Wonder got expanded Tiana’s place/New Orleans theming. They could create a permanent Snuggly Duckling to go with Rapunzel’s I suppose. I know they sometimes have the takeover in O’Gills today though they didn’t on our recent cruise. We get to sail on the Magic again at the end of the year so anything new would be exciting.
