I aplogize if this question has been brought up before...I have been off the boards since my last trip to WDW. We had to leave our Grand Villa 2 days early at BWV due to Frances last Sept!! It was such a horrible experience leaving and driving home. We took some backroads of GA that still give me the creeps . We are being brave and just booked the end of Sept. We plan to take the kids out only for a couple days from school. We will be arriving after 7:00p.m. and plan to go right to BWV. Can we still take ME or do we need to take a car service?

You should be able to use ME with no problems. Call MS and they will take all your info for you...then sit back and relax. I know how you feel about those storms. We were there for Charley and I was so glad I didn't have to be on the roads coming or going anywhere!!!

We did not have a mandatory evacuation but it was getting really scary. Frances was to be a cat. 5 heading right towards Orlando. No flights out early, got the last car available from rental agency to leave the state and they only had 300 gallons of gas left at the station. 95 was a parking lot so we took 84(?). Stop and go for 9 hours but we got out safe. Waycross GA was a nailbiter. Made it to Savannah and got the last room in a hotel cuz someone who should have had the room didn't want to pay $109 for a room. Signs said $69/night so he argued and lost but we won. Slept for 5 hours and left. We should have stayed in our GV cuz the boardwalk was like a ghost town so I'm sure the parks were dead. Since the hurricane never hit we would have been able to fly home at some point. We just got scared!
We're ready to go back and look forward to it.
