Thanks everyone for the kind thoughts and prayers. . .

I just got a call from Maggie- she is out of surgery and doing just fine.

We were hoping they could just do a "laproscopy"- using a couple minor incisions and a miniature camera to get in there and repair the hernia, but they ended up having to go ahead and do a regular surgery. I'm sure this will add to her recovery time, and she will definitely be in the hospital at least overnight. . . but other then that, it sounds like everything went smooth, and once she recovers that should be the end of this ordeal. . . (big sigh of relief from me. . LOL!!! )

Thanks so much again for all the prayers and support- this whole thing has been scary at times, and very stressful the whole time, and I'm sure I can speak for Maggie when I say the friendship and concern shown by everyone thoughout this was a big help and comfort to both of us. . .
