Madienform bras

I had a long talk with a Maidenform rep about a year ago.... she told me that Maidenform has been working to develop bras for what today's "grown up" women want. ie: good support, smoothing the underarm chub, moving the girls front and center instead of squashing them across, AND coming in size ranges that address reality.

I don't wear a minimizer, but have been eagerly awaiting their "total effects" bra that she promised me would come out in my hard-to-find size. Sure enough, it was in my local Belk last week and, drum roll, it is perfect! And was also around $25. So give them a try. They've been reengineering over there and I'm impressed.

I wear the Maidenform One Fabulous Fit Bra. For the money, it is a good bra and lasts longer than a Victoria Secret Bra. It also gives me the best fit. I am very broad through the ribcage and my "girls" are not close together. Many bras have the cups too close and I seem to be hanging out the sides, but the Maidenform doesn't do that.

The only thing that I have noticed is that this particular bra seems to have succombed to "vanity sizing." I always wore a B cup in this style, then I edged up to a C cup and now I am wearing a D cup in this bra. What the HECK!!!!! I don't know what's going on with them, but it fits. I am truly a B cup in other bras. As such, I've never had experience with a minimizer.

Funny you should bring this up. I bought the T-Shirt bra a few months ago. Love it.:thumbsup2

I am happy to be free of Victorias Secret.

Thanks for the response and recommendation. I'm the opposite. My ribcage is on the narrow side, and my girls are large and close together.

Yikes, I'm a D/DD.
