'made to measure' dress from Ebay?

Has anyone ever had or know anyone who's bought a wedding dress from Ebay, the one's from China or Hong Kong where they make them to your measurements? There seems to be so many of them at such bargain prices that I am seriously tempted to get one!
I was gonna wear my original dress for our VR as I thought it was really romantic (it's 11 years old, and I designed it and had it made for me) but then something I read made me not want to wear it because.............................it has poofy sleeves ) so I thought I might get it updated. Then I thought, by the time I paid a seamstress to practically take it to pieces and re-do it, it would be much cheaper to buy a new dress, either worn once, or the China made ones. The thing is, are they as good as they look on the Ebay pictures, or is it a matter of 'you get what you pay for' ?
Any help or advice would be much appreciated

I just got mine in yesterday as said. I can post a pic of the Mori Lee dress its supposed to look like too... should do that soon. My dress took 2 months to come in, the websit said it would only take 46 days... But it was made to size.... I just lost 15 lbs in 2 months... Good quality. PM me and I'll let you know who I use... Just make sure you use someone with good ratings.

I bought one of my wedding dress choice's from ebay!

It was from China and it was a copy of a Mori Lee dress!

I have to say I couldn't fault the service or the quality of the dress - they had defintely put effort into it and the made to measure fitted perfectly!

The only draw back was it wasn't quite the same as the picture for the colour of the embroidery - I had asked for an Ivory dress with light gold embroidery - the same as the picture but instead I got an Ivory dress with dark gold embroidery - Which I really didn't like!

So I would just say be careful with the colours and what the picture actually looks like - but apart from that the cost is really good and it came really quickly!

Oh no...why did I look?? I just found a dress that I fell in love with!! I'm tempted to buy it and then decide which gown looks best on me...eek!

they are sooo cheap that you could afford to do that! I have my eye on about 5 or 6 as I'm very indecisive
