Made ressie's before the 180 mark!

We will be checking in at the Poly on Nov. 11th. I just call to see if they'd let me book my dinner ressies early so I didn't have to worry about getting up early on Tuesday, the 180 mark. The let me book everything through the 16th! I'm very excited.

Did they give you a confirmation number or are they going to hold it until Tuesday? And did you get everything you wanted?

Yes, I got a confirmation # and we got all of our 1st choices. We got the following:
Sun. Nov 11th 5:40 - OHANA's
Mon. Nov. 12th 5:40 -LeCellier
Tues. Nov. 13th 5:40 - Boma
Wed. Nov. 14th 5:40 - Whispering Canyon
Thurs. Nov. 15th 5:45 - Liberty Tree Tavern
Fri. Nov. 16th 6:00 - Coral Reef

How do these restaurants look to you guys?? On backup I had Kona, Concourse Steakhouse and Captain Jack's. Would anyone change what I have?? There will be 8 of us Sun & MOn and 7 us the rest of the week. (3 kids age 10,9, and 6)

Why would you have to get up early at the 180 mark? Do you really think 3 or 4 hours makes such a difference?? It's so funny when I read about people getting up at 3:00am who are in different time zones to make ADRs. I made all mine within 3 months and last minute changes within 1 week of our trip and we were fine.

I'm glad that you got everything you wanted at 3 months, that is great! I was just expressing that I was happy with what I got.

I've never been to WDW, but from what I've been reading on this board, securing ADR's even at your 180 mark is no guarantee in getting what you want. I'm 6 hours behind Florida time and I'm pretty sure I'll be waiting up to make my ADRs on my 180 mark. Glad to hear you got everything you wanted.

If you are going during free DDP or high season, you certainly would want to get ressies in as early as possible.

I called in like day 178, and had NO problems w/ ressies except Le Cellier, and it sounds like the party of 6 thing messed that up. I still got ressies w/ 2 tables there.

We have the same first 3 as you, and we have Kona. We had no desire for character meals. Based our choices on positive reviews here, and looked at menus to see if I would like things.

Because you are staying on Disney property you can book 180 + 10 days in advance.

It's such a shame that some CMs are doing this. It makes it an unfair playing field. I wish Disney would make sure that all CMs are on the same page regarding this onsite perk.

The policy/perk is that onsite guests can call at 180 days from check in and then book 10 days worth of ADRs.

Your booking day would have been May 15, 5 days from now.

Because of this onsite perk, their computers have the ability to book past 180 days (because if you call at 180 days and book your whole trip, the computer needs to have this ability) however the CM shouldn't be booking ADRs unless they are 180 days out from their check in date.

Not all CMs will do this so you are lucky you got a CM who doesn't understand the onsite perk.

ack I got the one today who wouldnt let me book - my 180 days is this Sun Mothers Day
I did however book parasailing (through Duvalls) for Aug and segway and dolphin tours for Nov
Now I really want to get my ARs for Nov! especially the Norway princess brkfst!
