I haven't been since the early 90s and I know a lot has changed. DH has never been, he's only been to wdw. we're heading out to CA this summer for my HS reunion and we're taking a day to go to DL. I booked a night at the candy cane inn based on recommendations here...I think it will be fine for what we are looking for.

does anybody know offhand how early reservations can be made for the fantasmic dessert buffet?
oh, one question about the candy cane inn...is it realistic to walk to DL? would prefer to if its easily done.
