Well at 6:00am sharp this morning, I called Disney dinning and was pleasantly surprised that I made it to a CM immediately, no waiting in the que. Maybe it was because it being Sunday morning, who knows? I was able to get everything we wanted, within 30 minutes of our requested time. We have TS ADR's for seven nights at restaurants in the parks and at various resorts. Also, we have several lunch and breakfast ADR's as well.
I found it interesting that when the CM was making my res'es, that she would find the time closest to our requested one, like before the new system started, but then place it in a "shopping cart", five requests at a time. She would then process the times, and then give me the conf # for all five at once. Then we would repeat the process over again for the next five. To me, it's a much slower process then the old way of doing it. I guess that since the ADR's are being directly tied to your reservation number, slows the entire process down some.
I tried the on-line dining system, but it wouldn't take my DVC reservation number.
