I called today and made my ressies. I have booked 1 night with 2 rooms at the POP on Dec 31 2005. And then I booked 8 days with 2 rooms from Jan 1 2006 thru Jan 9th 2006. I figured that it would be cheaper to break the stay up into 2 ressies since Jan 1 starts the value season. I was also told that i could not book a package deal until Sept since that is when they come out for Jan. But I don't think I will really need a package since the only thing i have left to get is tickets. I think I will look around and see if I can't find a good place to get tickets. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. But the total for the rooms is $2031.83 and I am thinking maybe another $1000 for the tickets at the most but I think I can get a 10 day park hopper with Magic Plus option cheaper than that. Then all I have to account for is food and suviners. I don't think the dining plan is for my family. We only want to do one charcter meal and that is breakfeast with Cindy and I have picky eaters so I just don't think the dining plan is a good option for us. I am open to opinions as to weither you think this a good deal or not. I am so excited!! :Pinkbounc

I am just curious as to how many people you have staying with you because you could stay at the Poly or Gf for $2000 with a code. We are staying at the Poly from May 19-28 and it is exactly $1950 for the room. We had a code of course but if you could choose Poly over Pop for the same price, well that's a no brainer. Have Fun.

was that 1950 for this coming may or did you pay that last year? That figures out to be about 125.00 dollars a night can that be right?

There are 4 of us. Me and my DH my 2 DDs. The oldest will be 8 and the youngest will be 6. We wanted to get the girls their own room and their own TV. That will make it a lot more peaceful for all of us. LOL.

It's $216.00 a night for 9 nights (this coming May). There are also 4 of us going. I just wanted to give you an example of how much money can be saved with a discount code and the rooms at the Poly are much bigger than the value resorts. I personally can't get enough of sitting out on the balcony in the evenings or in the mornings with my coffee surounded by palm trees it's just awesome :earboy2: .

P.S. I made this ressie without a code and got the idea of calling disney to ask if I had one attached to my name/address from this board and low and behold I did, they were extremely helpful and made the new ressie with the discount and cancelled my old one for me, so you may want to consider giving them a call and asking either now or closer to the time of your trip even if you choose to stick with the 2 rooms at the all stars you could still save a bundle :cool1: . Just think of all the shopping that can be done with the money you would have spent on a room.

Tina
