Made my ADRs for our Thanksgiving trip this morning.

We'll be there Thanksgiving week as well! I haven't booked my hotel yet (will be staying at CSR) so I was only able to make ressie for my first night - Crystal Palace. Where are you eating your Thanksgiving meal? I'm still up in the air (choices are WCC, Kona, Park Fare 1900, or the Garden Grill). Anyone have any input?

We tossed around Thanksgiving ideas for months and finally decided to do a non-traditional dinner. We will be eating at the BOMA. I think it will be fun and interesting!

CP = Candlelight Precession (can't spell, graduated Pubilk skoolz ).

Christmass Story type thing with Singers and Music, and a Celebrity guest reader. I will try to get it later after they anounce it.

I am arriving on Thanksgiving day so today I called (wasn't sure if it was time yet or not, but they let me make them so i guess I was okay!)

11/23 T-giving (wanted LTT but there none available ) Crystal Palace at 5:10 pm
11/24 6:10 at LeCellier
11/25 lunch at Sci fi at 12:30 pm
11/26 LTT (at least I got it once this trip!)
11/27 6:10 Coral Reef
11/28 'Ohana 10:10 am breafast, and 5:30 Tony's for MVMCP
11/29 10:30 am for Donald's Breakfastosaurus, and 8:30 Boma's for dinner
11/30...Sea World so probably Shark Reef
12/1..1900 Park Fare dinner 6:00pm
12/2 no idea yet...still have one TS credit left and not sure where we want to go. Will wait until the dec. hours are posted!
12/3... home!!

I'll be on the look out for the lime green!!

How is it that EVERYONE is getting GREAT Le Cellier times on 11/24 and all I can get is 8:30???? Maybe I should leave DH home, and then we'd be a party of 4 instead of 5!!!

Also with the CP... it's a pre-booked dinner (3 tier pricing) with reserved seats for the show. This way you don;t have to stand in the general admission line and HOPE for a seat.

It looks like we'll be at WDW at the same time, we are having a Grand Gathering with our tablemates that we met on our Disney Cruise last year.

Wow you were lucky to be able to book...we arrive on the 22nd and when I called tonight I was told I had to call back tomorrow that no reservations could be made prior to the 180 day window...when I pressed the CM (kid of begged..since it is "almost" tomorrow) she actually told me that their computers wouldn't accept any reservations outside the 180 day window.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I get my ADR's tomorow when I call.

Im suprised too! We arrive on Thanksgiving day and while its to late to call today I wonder if I should try to call tommorow morning?

Also here is what we are looking at for ADR's comments are appreciated! We are not on the dining plan.

Thursday - Whispering Canyon 1:30/2PM for Thanksgiving meal
(have Brown Derby, 50's Prime Time, Yacht Club Galley and Boatwrights as my backups in that order)

Friday - Breakfast at Boatwrights 9:30AM, lunch at counter service Animal Kingdom

Saturday - Early lunch at Grand Floridian Cafe 11:30 (MK day), dinner and Fantasmic at MGM?

Sunday - Candlelight Processional, Le Cellier, hoping to get the 4:30 slot for the 2nd show.

Monday - ? probably Magic Kingdom, probably counter service.

It starts at 3:45 each day.
Edited-Sorry- I reread your post and the first time I missed the "Jingle". Don't know for sure but the day after Thanksgiving is when all the holiday decorations are up so that would be my guess.

Don't despair about possibly not being able to get LTT, call on the 180 day mark, there might be something available.

I am unhappy with the ADR time I have for Le Cellier on 11/24 (8:30PM). The CM told me to call back on the 180 day mark and there would be other times available. Even though Disney releases tables at the 180 + 10 day mark, they do hold back tables for those that need to call on the 180 day mark (if that makes any sense).

So I will get up on Sunday and be on the phone by 7am in hopes of getting a 4pm ADR for 11/24.

I think the Jamin Jingle Parade is going on the whole week of Thanksgiving. I remember seeing it on the Disney calendar for AK. I know that it is scheduled for Monday the 20th of Nov (because that's when we will be in AK). They definately don't release all the tables before the 180 day mark. I tried to get Cindy's on my 180 + 10 date. At 6:01 cst all the CRT tables for my whole week were unavailable. When I called back on the exact 180 date, I actually had a choice of times!

I just made ADRs for 5 for Thanksgiving at the Fort at 4:00 p.m. Has anyone ever done this? I understand that it is like Mickey's Backyard BBQ (which I've also never done), but with Thanksgiving food. Any feedback would be apprecitated!!!!

I wasn't sure if I could call yet or not but I thought I would try and if they told me it was too early then I would wait and call back. The only thing she asked me was if I had a confirmation number. Maybe I'll call back today and make sure the computer kept my ressies.

As 01Sweetpea said, most of the tables at restaurants are opened on the actual 180 date, which for Thanksgiving will be tomorrow, Sat May 26. We are trying to eat at WCC & there were no big tables available for the 13-15 of us. There are no tables for more than 12, so we know we need 2 tables for 8, but what's the point of a big family meal if we have to sit at 4 different tables? So I have a back up booked but am going to call back tomorrow. Also if anyone else is interested in Raglan Road, you must call at 180 days for that. So much for 1 easy phone call to take care of everything. oh well, this way I call my sister everyday to confer about choices.

Well I called this morning and was able to get all the ADR's we wanted....we are celebrating American Thanksgiving at Cape May Cafe at 7 pm with 2 great American friends that we met through the Disboards!!!!!!
