Made all kinds of bookings yesterday and first Vero Trip

Well since MS has been SOOOOOOO busy latey, When I finally got through I booked as much as a I could.

So this may we are 7 night BCV then 3 at Vero, ocean view inn.

Then also booked 4 nights at AKV for the Tower of terror 13k which sound fun.

We are very excited to try vero since we have even see it. Thought it might be a nice little change. Any suggestions?

I think May is a lovely time to go to Vero! We did a BCV/VB vacation once in May and they both were heavenly!

Enjoy! I was reading on the "event" board about your running plans. DDiL has booked the 1/2 marathon for next January. I think that it will be her first 1/2, but we'll be seeing them this weekend and I'll learn more about what she's doing to prepare. We're going to be there to cheer her on, of course!

Vero is one of my favorite places. And I think in June you can do the turtle walk at night - I've never done it because we haven't gone at that time of year. Last time, we went on an airboat tour which was a lot of fun. Saw tons of alligators (It was with Stumpknockers tours I believe?). There is a treasure museum there - I haven't been there but my kids have gone and it is interesting. Mel Fisher found a huge treasure in that area years ago and some of the artifacts he found are there. There's a botanical garden and a fairly nice art museum in Vero. We always mean to get out and do stuff in town but then we end up spending the whole week at the pool! The pool there is my favorite. And the CM's there are terrific. Have a great time! We finally got a beach cottage reserved for Thanksgiving this coming year and I am so psyched!

We'll be there in the first of May. We've been there in April, June, July, August, September, October, and November. We are wildlife lovers and are hoping to see some new things since May is full bloom. Maybe we will cross paths.

When exactly are you going.... We'll be there 5/3 thru 5/8.

That always nice to hear. I think we will really like vero.

As far as the running goes, I think I might just run the marathon and not do the goofy. Everyone over there is scaring me a little bit. This way I know I can have some nice rest before it. I'm still deciding, but I better do it fast

I will have to look into a tour or two. Maybe we should go longer then 3 days Huh? What do you think?
