Going back to Orlando in August, my 3 year old son loves Madagascar??? Are the characters still around and which park and times do they come out??? Any info on this would be great.

Just returned two weeks ago. The Madagasar character spot is near the entrance to the ET shop and the characters that appear are Alex the Lion and several of the penguins.
The characters all arrive in a themed car.

Hope this helps.

They are at Universal Studios. I have seen them near the Animal Planet show area. I think there are scheduled times--see the park map on the day you arrive.

like I'mgonnabe40 said, they're on scheduled times. it's 4 or 5 appearances per day. you'll see the sign right about where Sunset Blvd. and Exposition Blvd. meet.

The first poster said near ET. ET is in the studios not IOA. They are in moslty in KidZone or near Animal Actors. They can't tell you a time because it changes. You'll have to check the park map when you go.

Are those the "move it, move it, move it" characters?

a poster on her "laphin" was one of the characters for madagascar, check to see if he has posted lately.
phantom could probably tell you if he is still there
