Just called to inquire why we have never gotten a pin or discount in the last 7 years and CM told us we just must be unlucky. She proceeded to tell my husband that she played the lottery last month and didn't win either.. We were just looking for info and were met with such bitterness. Not a very magical experience:mad::mad::mad:

While there is no excuse for a rude tone, I'm not sure what information you expected a CM to have. CM's won't know why you don't have a pin code over 7 years. They'll just know if you have one attached to your name or not.

She could not tell me that either, she said she had no idea what we were taliking about.
After my husband explained what it was she then told him about the lottery.

Well, not sure what was up with her not knowing, but I could bet that you aren't getting pin codes because you visit so frequently. From a business perspective, Disney clearly has your business and doesn't need to motivate you to return. Now, if you didn't go for three or four years, you might find yourself getting a pin. A lot of times pins will go to people who priced and saved their vacations on the Disney website, but did not actually purchase. Sometimes it is just randomly computer generated.

That's ok...we have NEVER in 12 trips received one either.:sad2: I look for the deals & if I don't find one-we don't go. I have given up on pins/codes...
It was just like our last trip where they were offering gift cards to purchase at discounted prices-(I used to spend alot at Disney-not anymore) I called and asked about getting one & the CM claimed to be clueless-so I give up. If we ever DO get one-I will post my excitement here on the boards!:)

I really do not think that makes a difference. We usually go every year, and I get 3-4 pin codes a year. (Sorry OP, I am not trying to make you feel bad that you are not getting any.) Just pointing out that I really do not think traveling frequently means that you will never recieve a pin code.

Sending some pixie dust that you get one sent to you!!!:goodvibes

We've received pin codes the last 2 years. Before that, only once or twice. Check my sig and you'll see I go at least one a year.

I didn't start getting them until I created an account on every disney website known to man. I actually believe my espn account is what did it. I'm pretty sure disney owns espn.

Ah, that's good to know! I had heard it was related to repeat visits. Sorry for the misinformation!

Sign up for a free vacation dvd, sign up every email account you own and anything Disney that you can think of. Also, every so often, go to their website and search a trip - then hit "save for later." I got 2 pin codes doing this. Good luck!

Agree. Sign on with a new email address like you've never booked a trip with Disney before. Save a couple trips, then go back in and tweak them a bit a few days later.

That's how I got my 30/35/40 pin. I NEVER got a Pin on my real, official, home email account. 4 days after I created a new yahoo email address and entered it on the Disney site, I got the cool code.
