Maclaren twin techno or sit and stand?

Last trip my boys were 2 1/2 and 4 months and the twin techno was so perfect for us. Next time we go, they will be about to turn 2 and 4. My older one hasn't sat in the stroller in a long time, but was already a little squished in the skinny seat of the techno. What do you all think of a sit and stand? Would it be a better idea? Are they easier to navigate than the techno?

We've never used the twin techno, but we have a sit and stand and it is great. We usually have our 3 year old in the front, and our 5 year old in the back, with our 6 year old hopping on when she wants to. Our girls are small enough that they can both fit on the back seat, and it is easy for them to get off when they want. I would go with the sit and stand simply for the fact that the seats are tandem and not side by side. You will be able to fit through tighter areas like shops and even just walking around the crowds. Just my opinion though.

What sit and stand stroller do you reccomend?

At 4 and 2 and again at 5/3 we took our twin techno for our 2 boys. Our oldest liked being as to actually lean back and relax especially after a long day in the parks.

I hate sit n stands, so I'd absolutely go w/ the maclaren. I also love maclarens. Both kids being able to recline w/ a sun shade is key, IMO. I find any front back double a PIA to steer and maneuver. Also, the maclaren folds well for the bus.

I have both a maclaren double (not a techno) and a sit n stand. We have taken both to disney and to be honest I preferred the sit n stand. People complain about the sit n stand being so hard to push and turn but I never found it to be a problem. While the maclaren was easier to push the sit n stand was easier to navigate thru crowds. And since it stood when folded I found it easier to hold on the buses.
