Maclaren strollers are driving me CRAZY!

I can't seem to figure out the difference in all the models!!! There are:
Volo
Triumph
Techno XT
Techno Classic
Quest

What is the difference in all these?? - I went to the Maclaren site, but didn't find it to be much help. I know that the VOLO is the cheapest, but why? And what features do the more expensive ones have? Are they ALL umbrella fold?

I'm probably not much help since my maclaren is quite a few years old, but I do know that the volo is the cheapest because it does NOT recline and it has a mesh type seat, not padded like the more expensive models. The earlier volos also did not come with a sunshade, but I believe they do now. Some people like the mesh seat for disney because if it gets wet, it doesn't take long to dry. I prefer the recline and padded seat though.

Also, when I first bought mine (3 years ago), the more expensive the models got, the heavier they got. The weight didn't increase much, but if a couple of pounds makes a difference to you, that is something to look into. I think some of the models have different number of recline positions too.

When I bought mine, the seat of the cheaper model didn't sit as deep and therefore my long legged DD wasn't as comfy in the cheaper one. Again, don't know if it is still that way or not.

HTH some. They are great strollers and I think you will be happy with whatever model you choose. The only downfall is that the basket is small and if you hang a bag off the back, the stroller will tip easily when the child gets out.

I have the Techno XT. We got it because the stroller handles adjust (i.e. great for tall people!!!) and I believe this was the only model that did this.
It fold umbrella style and weighs about 15 pounds. It is used by DS3.

We did not care for the Volo since it is made of mesh and did not seem worth the price (says the lady who bought the more expensive one )

Anyway, I had never heard of MacClaren until I joined up with the Dis and after a HORRIBLE experience with a BabyTrend Lighweight last fall (Read: Back wheel kept flying off in Epcot!! ) I am so happy I read all these reviews and got a Mac- we love it!!!!!!

We have both the techno XT and Volo. I just loved the techno but as my 3rd child grew it was more of pain to bring on vacation with us. It does fully recline though. But, two years ago we went to Disney in July and felt we needed the lightest weight stroller possible AND the mesh seat seemed like a good idea. Well, the mesh seat was the GREATEST!! My 20 month old (at the time) loved pouring water all over herself and the seat was dry instantly. And she could spill stuff all over the seat and we could just wash it out so quickly!! The seat didn't recline, but at that point she was fine with that!! This is our 3 child and my DH kept wondering why we never got a Volo before that,lol!!
