Maclaren stroller question...

After reading all the posts about the Maclarens... I just bought 2 Triumphs for my DD3 and DS5 for our trip this December. I also got the things that attach them together to make them a "double" while in the parks...

My questions is this.. What kind of accessories do you guys have for your Maclarens? I saw the universal organizer, but does it hold a real drink in it or just a bottle? Does it make it too heavy and "tippy"? I also was looking at some other drink holders, but it seems most are made to go with the complete handlebars systems, not Maclaren's.

I was looking for any ideas for either drink holder attachments, or tray attachments.. anything you all might have found useful with your strollers!!

Thanks in advance!!

PS Also, just send a good thought my way for tonight when I break it to my DH that I bought these two strollers to take with us,instead of renting in the park, like he wanted :rolleyes1 (Oops! I love you, honey!)

I recently bought the Quest and the organizer for the back- maybe someone here can help- I used the velcro to attach it and it easily fell off when I had some things in it. Is there another way to attach it? It seems to be good for holding stuff, but if it isn't going to stay on, I would rather buy the cheap net bag to attach.

ptslp,

What is the "cheap net bag?"

Here is a link to it-

I have seen/bought them at BabiesRUs, Target, WalMart, etc. Stores like that. They aren't the greatest, but from what I can tell of my Maclaren bag so far, the net is fine. It is good for bottles, maps, small bags. I have used the hooks it comes with and also used the links (by Sassy I think) that hold toys to the stroller to hold it on my stroller.

I bought the universal organizer and have had it pretty full, with things in the net, and drinks in both holders, never had a problem of it coming off the handle bars, it's actually tough to get off. As for the drinks, it works best for bottles, it will work for cups, but they can't be full or they will spill a bit.

I have a Quest and I suggest you avoid the temptation to load it with stuff. Macs are light, have a center of gravity toward the back, and tend to tip easily. The less you have on it and in it, the easier it is to fold and move.
