Macaroni Grill trying to cut corners

No, I think you have some company.

I see where people are complaining, the big difference that I see is that I never liked it. First time was about 4 years ago, for some reason when we go out of town, we end up back there. I have never had anything that I like there.

:thumbsup2 gotcha.;)

Ate there for the first time about a month ago. Our neighbors rave over the place so since we happened to be near one on a mini shopping trip we decided to try it out.

First the table was cruddy...hate that! There was paper over it but the grease from the crumbs were soaking through and the bench was dirty too.

Then a teeny tiny bread came for the 5 of us, we didn't know we could have more.:confused3

After a long wait the meals came and I almost laughed....well, my hubby and I did laugh... but held it in until the waitress left. I was disappointed at the quantity of my ravioli but my husband's meal was just sad. About 15 noodles and 5 small slivers of chicken lay on the bottom of a bowl. While the food did taste acceptable we were both still hungry.

Then....just as we were discussing what to do about being hungry my daughter yells "ewwww". A dead fly is laying UNDER the fries she's been eating. How is it possible the cook didn't see that? They did take my daughter's meal off the bill....but seriously, whoopie doo....first and last time. NEVER again.:snooty:

I'm sorry but this one made me laugh, I know its not funney but for somereason I LOL,

Well at least your daughter was not hungry leaving, not after seeing the fly, I'm surprised she did not puke

The food was overpriced for what you got, the service was terrible... so I submitted detailed feedback.

I got an immediate response from the regional manager apologizing, promising that they were returning back to their roots, so to speak, and enclosing $20 in gift certificates to entice me to try it again.

So I wrote them again to tell them how much our experience had improved, and they sent me another $10 in gift certs for the positive feedback.

Sounds like it pays twice as good to complain. :)
