Is there anyway an adult can order it? Like could I get it as a side instead of fries? Or could I just get a larger portion of the kids? Has anyone tried this?
On the dining plan you can order off the kids CS with no problems. They will charge you an adult credit and you will still get your usual dessert and drink with it. As to whether they make a larger portion for you, that is at the discretion of the restaurant.
If you are paying OOP for it, just order it and maybe order a side to go with it if you feel you need it.
The mac and cheese at Le Cellier is good - it appears to be "home-made" instead of Stouffer's frozen. If I want the frozen stuff, I'll get it at home (not that I eat it there either).
However, I love mac and cheese, so I can totally understand needing a "fix".
When we went to the World back when I was pregnant w/ ds I had HORRID all day sickness and mac n cheese was one of the few things I could stomach to eat. I ate it wherever it was offered, and never got any looks or comments from ordering off the kids menu... There was no dining plan back then though, not sure if that would matter either way though as I'm sure Disney would be thrilled to have you pay for a dining credit but only eat a kid's sized portion, kwim?
