Mac and Cheese at Le Cellier

I notice that Le Cellier has a side dish of Baked Macaroni and Cheese. Can anyone comment on this that has had it? I am particularly wondering if it has lots of added spices, etc or whether it is fairly plain Mac & Cheese. I have a very picky 14 year old coming with us and I am wondering if I can count on this as filler in case he does not like his entree.

Also, do they still have the pretzle bread?

DS and I had this Mac & Cheese back in Sept 2008 and it was delicious! Not a lot of extra spices, but there was bacon and several different kinds of cheese. To this day we both agree that it is the best Mac & Cheese we have ever had. This isn't the best pic but maybe it will give you an idea

From what I have read recently, yes they still have the pretzel bread! I think there would be a huge outcry here in the Dis if they got rid of it!

As for the mac and cheese.....sorry but I can't answer to this.

I can tell you that there is nothing there that isn't good. If I remember right my daughter ordered it and she's waaaay picky about her mac and cheese being just right.

All I remember that evening about the food....and no dang it I didn't take one pic of the dinner, pics of drinks before and desert after-but not dinner what the heck is up with that?
is that it was very good and we as a family were very happy and having a good time together. My daughter would have said something if she didn't like what she ordered and she always orders mac and cheese where she could since she was 10 and couldn't order off the kids menu with the DDP. Well, she could but we told her she couldn't....yes I'm one of those parents.

My DD ordered it in May 2010. She didn't see anything on the menu that she liked so ordered this as her entree. (blasphemy, right?--she was 9, btw) Our server told her that it had bacon in it and was that ok? She LOVED it! It looked very much like a PP's picture above--creamy w/bread crumbs on top. It didn't look spicy, just had the bacon pieces mixed in and the bread crumbs on top. It was her favorite meal of the trip and DH liked it too. (He "helped" her eat it.) In fact, our other two kids wished they had ordered it, too, I think. They just got regular kids meals. BTW, we were paying OOP, not on any dining plan.

Thanks so much, everyone. I can now rest a little easier about that night's meal. We have been there before and my husband and I loved it but my son didn't eat very much. This will be a better solution.

Kroger has that here too. DW said it was the same as LC. The mac & cheese looks great, if I could get that and some veggies, I wouldn't need any meat
