MA area DISers..a question about cleaning services..

I am thinking of hiring a company to clean my parents condo on a monthly or weekly basis but I don't know which one to choose. Does anyone have any experience with Merry Maids or any other group?? We are in SE MA and I recently got a brochure from The Maids in Woonsocket, RI which is just two towns over so not far. My folks are now 80 & 85 and there isn't a heckuva lot I can give them for Christmas and it is getting harder for them to really clean their place so I thought this might be a good idea.

Just looking for opinions if anyone has them..

Instead of a nationwide company like Merry Maids, look for a smaller 1 or 2 person company. You'll be supporting the little guy. Ask for a reference of course and run a background check if you feel it's warranted. Be sure they are insured and licensed and bonded. Sis and I have a business specializing in elderly clients. It's crushing every time one has to go to a nursing home or assisted living or passes away but they are usually much more friendly and we love them like family. Support the little guy but be sure to cover your butt!
