Okay I want to order M&M's for my wedding, how did everyone get them down to disney?? Did you ship them, did you pack them in your luggage, or carry them on the plane? I would rather ship them to disney but am affraid they will melt... :( Where does disney store the boxes we ship them? I just dont want them to melt in the warm FL sun..

Thanks :)

That is one of the reasons I love M&M's...it has to be VERY hot for them to melt! The inside may melt but the shell stays intact. I am a chocoholic and during the summer I live off of m&m's because I can keep the single serving size packs in my purse and unlike other chocolate they don't melt into a sticky mess in the hot Florida sunshine. I've even taken them to the beach to snack on many times. The worst that will usually happen is the outside shell will get a little sticky so when you touch it the coloring comes of on your fingers. When I was a little girl I used to love to heat up m&ms in the microwave until the inside melted and eat them warm. You shouldn't have a problem with them melting unless you keep them at a really high temperature for an extended period of time.

Just a bit of history: M&M's were originally created during war so the soldiers could keep them in their pockets and they would not melt. I thought that was interesting although it may not fully answer your question. :)

Just to add to this - have any international brides ordered them for their Disney Wedding? I want to order some of the disney wedding one's for my guests but not too sure where to start....
