Which lot do you prefer? We plan to arrive to the lot around or just after park opening tomorrow. Taking into account bus/tram lines, security at M&F vs outside the hub, ease of exiting and boarding tram/buss after parade, which would you recommend? Thank you!

I prefer M&F, but a lot of people here prefer Toy Story. I like the flyover from the 5 that is almost always open, and I prefer the tram to the bus. I rarely go at park opening, but I have heard that TS is better at that time in regards to the line to get in. I like security much better on the M&F side though. It's really up to your preference. Neither is objectively "better."

I don't understand the rhyme or reason - but M&F has been closed every time I've gone in the morning we get re-routed to Lion King (?) it is so annoying. Last time was a couple times in November and before that was a number of times in September. So things (obviously) change.

I prefer Mickey and Friends. If you arrive before park opening or shortly after, you may be able to park here. If you are a couple hours later, they will reroute you to Toy Story. Mickey and Friends opens up again later.

Reasons I don't like Toy Story - after driving for a couple hours, I need to use the toilet and there aren't any here. You have to board the bus and then go through security before you can find a restroom. A couple times in the evening, the lines for the buses back were very long. We waited 20 minutes once for a bus back and realized we could have walked it in the same amount of time. Next time we had a much longer line and we walked to the parking lot instead of standing around waiting when we were already tired of standing around waiting.

We drive in from the east side (57) and come down Katella to use TS. I tried both and we felt it took longer to get through M&F. The tram is better than the bus, but we are still happier with the in and out of TS. It's probably 10 mins quicker for us.

Toy Story for us. We've never had too long for a bus. Whereas, every.single.time we've gone to M&F waiting for the tram is ridiculous! I hate having the free for all trying to get seated.

I prefer M & F in the mornings and Toy Story in the evenings. The trams at M & F run us maybe 2 cycles in the mornings but Toy Story has long lines with people coming from other hotels. In the evenings it is just easier access the TL lot and jump on a bus. Traffic to get to M & F seems worse with all of the evening traffic from the freeways and surrounding businesses. That is just my experience as a local though.

I hated having to ride the bus with my stroller, so I much preferred M&F. Also, TS lot has no rest room, which is incredibly important with a toddler.

Toy Story! We switched over after our first WDW trip in 2010 because we wanted the Disney bus experience on the west coast. ;) We still use it because it's been faster and easier in our experience. We have had insane waits for trams in the past in both directions. The lines for the bus can be long at night, but typically those lines move very fast, so the wait is never too bad. The walk between our car to the bus is also typically much shorter than between the car and the tram ever was at M&F, especially when we go at opening, which we always do now.

I hate the tram and waiting for the elevator at Mickey & friends. We have a stroller. But beyond the inconvenience of folding the stroller, it feels crowded and people are scattered in the wait lines. But it's ideal with the proximity and shade. I have not parked here since the new security has been reinforced. We keep getting rerouted to other lots.

We have only parked at The Toy Story lot twice. When we boarded mid day, it was great. No wait and there was a steady stream of shuttles. I like the bus better than the tram. The second time we were here, the line to board was so long, we decided to just walk.

I prefer Simba if they open it. We have stayed at PPH many times. So this walk is easy.

We have also been rerouted to the lot across from Anaheim Garden Walk. We walk as well (because of the stroller.) but it isn't bad. But it was annoying with the old security system to go to DTD, then securityjust to get back on Harbor

I recommend following Disneyland Today on twitter. They often announce the best lots... more so responding to angry tweets that Mickey and friends was closed/too long. It can save you time bypassing that line if you were warned ahead of time. Once the line was backed up to the freeway.

We've been in a parking lot line for 45 minutes a few times. Stuck behind California Adventure. :/

Mickey and friends for me. Its kind of become tradition, and Now we consider the tram ride our first "attraction" of the day :)
