on the Uber app i just saw the xl with carseat option. Im wondering if that will be ok for her....Booster seats, no. There are some Ubers with a car seat, but not a booster. There are no Lyfts with car seats or boosters.
Bringing your own is recommended, as it opens up many more possibilities in terms of utilizing ride share services.
thx so much but yhere no way im carrying a seat around all day for a 1 way trip lol. we were takin the shuttle back. i think ill try the car seat uber as she is just at 50 lbsIf your booster kid hits the 50lb minimum, I'd highly recommend these. https://www.target.com/p/graco-rightguide-portable-seat-belt-trainer-harlin/-/A-77789616
They fold small into a convenient carrying bag, fit 3 across in most vehicles (necessary for our family) and really expand out your options for using rentals or ride shares with booster age kids.
You can look at the Uber app. Change your pickup location to where you would want to be picked up, put in your destination and see what options pop up. I think uber with car seats exist in Orlando but new drivers can't sign on for that option.Does anyone more more information about the availibility (yes/no, and if yes, liklihood that one is readily available) about Uber with Car Seat?
Uber's official page says this is only available in New York and has been phased out in other cities, but apparently you we were able to get it to come up in Orlando. Thanks.
They positively exist in Orlando. They came up when we selected rides during my July 4th tripDoes anyone more more information about the availibility (yes/no, and if yes, liklihood that one is readily available) about Uber with Car Seat?

If you want smaller than this the mifold is about the size of a clutch purse and lightweight https://mifold.comIf your booster kid hits the 50lb minimum, I'd highly recommend these. https://www.target.com/p/graco-rightguide-portable-seat-belt-trainer-harlin/-/A-77789616

So it was definitely hit or miss as to what type of seat was installed. We travelled with a mi-fold for my 5 year old.
I will say, the car seats that were in those cars could be pretty janky and I wouldn't use it for anything beyond resort to park/ resort to resort travel.
If the kiddo is 6 or older, you don't need a booster in florida. But I know that's not necessarily what people are comfortable with.
Minnie Van is a different subject than Uber/Lyft.That is very good to know. My DD is 8 and where I leave, a booster seat (preferably with back support) is mandatory until the child is either 10 or 1m50 (~4'11). I was wondering if we would be able to take a Minnie Van sometimes (especially from resort to resort) or if I'd need to rely solely on Disney transportation. I won't be that comfortable but I'll probably make an exception when we are at Disney...
Not sure what you mean by "what these hours are in Orlando area"Oh, also Uber and Lyft are generally available 24 hours, but sometimes it can take a little bit to get a car to accept your ride at some hours. Not sure what these hours are in the Orlando area though.
When the program first started they had to use a certain type of approved car seat. I suspect that since it was some time ago and has now ended, with drivers grandfathered in only, they have gotten lax in keeping only approved car seats available. So it was definitely hit or miss as to what type of seat was installed. We travelled with a mi-fold for my 5 year old.

I don't think MVs are currently doing airport transfersThere can be a question on the vehicle's availability and of course, they are only for use on property or back/forth to the airport also.
As I said - the times that it's harder to get a car to accept. For example in my area, if I want an early morning car to the airport, I have to request a bit early than I really need as it can take a while for a driver to accept. This may not be the same in Orlando. Not sure what you mean by "what these hours are in Orlando area"
24 hours in Orlando is the same as 24 hours anywhere else.
It's 24 hours.
