I posted this above, but I'll repeat. You paid LESS than the normal fare for the shortest mileage.it matters as we are charged by the proposed route, at least in my experience. If there is a shorter more direct route, which they do take, I would like to be charged less (per mile) as the route should be navigated.
This is not difficult to understand.
Go to any map site and compute the shortest route. Then factor in the standard MinnieVan rates and you will find that you were UNDER-charged, not overcharged.
Or...if you REALLY still think you were overcharged, contact Lyft support.
