Lyft code?

Does anyone have a Lyft code that is good for Orlando? I downloaded the app onto my phone and used a code that I found online for $20 worth of free rides. Of course it didn’t work as described and I only received a $5.00 off discount. I thought that I had read that there were better codes and I want to be sure before I add the app to my husband’s phone.

Exactly -- that's sort of the normal everyday promotion for both Uber and Lyft: $20 usable $5 at a time. You have to read the fine print to be sure you understand the requirements/benefits. Those promotions are also sometimes market-specific, so if you get to Orlando and find that code won't work there, get someone else in your party to download the app and get their promotional code.

I also recommend that everyone put both Uber and Lyft on your phone to multiply promotions and also because the companies do NOT price and promote at the same time -- so at any given moment, one might be better than the other.

So I used Lyft for the first time. Actually, I used it for a Minnie Van. I received five dollars off of that ride but I have no further discounts available. I find this disappointing as I have heard others have received a total of five dollars off of their first four rides. I don’t know how to find another code. Does anyone have any suggestions. I want to upload the app to my husbands phone.

The promotions are constantly changing, so maybe $5 is all Lyft is giving in Orlando right now. Check other sources like Groupon, etc and see if they have better offers.

Also, you may be able to "refer" your husband from your Lyft app, giving both of you some kind of promotion. Just check several sources before you actually install the app on his phone. Also check Uber.
