Hi everyone! I'm so excited to be doing my first ever pre-trip blog! Our trip is officially 94 days from today so I've decided it's a good time to start blogging about all the planning :)

Here's the Little Princess that will get to meet Mickey for the first time:

Lydia - currently 7 1/2 months old, will be 10 1/2 months when she meets the Mouse.

Next installment: the "Who's"

Who will be going on this trip:

Me :goodvibes (Beth) 30 years old and 9th time to the Kingdom; and my little princess Lydia who will be 10 1/2 months old when we arrive.

My Mom (Chris) - this will be her 6th trip (1st time since 2003)

This will be both an exciting and bittersweet trip for myself. On April 4, 2008, my amazing husband passed away while I was 4 1/2 months pregnant with our little princess Lydia. Tim and I honeymooned in Disney and subsequently visited 2 more times during our short 3 1/2 year marriage (however, we had been dating since 1997 - Senior Year of high school). Here are some pictures of Tim and I together enjoying our time at Disney:

I know he'll be smiling down from heaven watching us enjoy and make new memories on this trip.

Next installment: The Itinerary

Just got all of my ADR's this morning - no problems at all!!! So here's our itinerary for the trip:

Wed. Aug. 5, 2009
Leave PA in a packed mini-van and head towards Richmond, VA to spend night one with my Aunt.

Thurs. Aug. 6, 2009
Leave VA, still in a packed mini-van and head towards SC or GA to spend night 2.

Fri. Aug. 7, 2009
Leave from wherever we stayed the night before and head towards The Villages, FL to spend night 3 with my other Aunt & Uncle who will be meeting Lydia for the first time!

Sat. Aug. 8, 2009
Leave from The Villages, FL and head towards Buena Vista Suites for our one night off property stay. We'll spend some time in Downtown Disney today and have dinner at Boma!

Sun. Aug. 9, 2009
Check into our Studio Villa at Wilderness Lodge! Unpack the car and head DIRECTLY to the Magic Kingdom for Lydia's first walk down Main St. USA! Dinner at Chef Mickey's.

Mon. Aug. 10, 2009
The park today will be Epcot and we're hoping to make the rope drop. Lunch will be at Chef de France (to see Remy!) and dinner will be at Coral Reef.

Tues. Aug. 11, 2009
The park today will be Hollywood Studios - and again we'll be trying to get there in time for rope drop. I will be scheduling an audition for the American Idol experience this day but can't do that quite yet. A late lunch/early dinner will be at Hollywood Brown Derby.

Wed. Aug. 12, 2009
We will start at Magic Kingdom today wil breakfast at teh Crystal Palace before the park opens - so excited for that!!! Then we'll hop to Epcot for dinner at Japan - yum!

Thurs. Aug. 13, 2009
We'll plan to be in Animal Kingdom today and of course, try for a rope drop. Thinking about trying to Picnic in the Park for lunch and then dinner will be at The Rainforest Cafe.

Fri. Aug. 14, 2009
No park scheduled yet for the morning - whatever we want to go back to or maybe just sleep in!!! Dinner will be in Epcot at Le Cellier.

Sat. Aug. 15, 2009
Check out :rotfl2:

Sun - Tues
Head home

Well, after talking with my friend who is going to be at WDW the same time we are, we re-arranged some of our ADR's so we can eat together and enjoy some time in the parks together as well!

We will now be eating at Boma a little later on Sat Aug 8 so we can all enjoy it together as one big family!

I also added the Behind the Seeds Tour as a Birthday Present for my mom - so that got tossed into Monday's trip to Epcot.

I ended up canceling our ADR for Bron Derby - just didn't think it was worth 4 points! So now we'll be grabbing Quick Service on Tues while we're in HS.

I also ended up canceling our ADR at Rainforest Cafe and added Whipsering Canyon (especially since we're staying at WL).

And I think that's about it for changes. 78 days and counting!!!! :woohoo:
