Well, as long as you pay for One MYW pass, and it doesn't have to be a park-hopper, you can get the Disney Dining Plan. It's a little trick my Trip Planner told me about! (Thank you Small World Vacations!) I used them to plan my Trip! It was so much easier than having to be on top of knowing when the codes were coming out for the different packages. Well, I hope this helps!

YES!! I am using Small World Vacations for our trip in October and couldn't be happier!!

Love reading your trip report. We just got back from WDW and we ate at 'Ohanas one night (this has always been our favorite place to eat). We are looking at getting married next May or October and would love to have 'Ohanas for our Rehersal/Welcome Dinner. I just wanted to ask you how things works out for your large group? We would propably have around the same number of people. From the picture it looks like they were able to sit you all at one table. Did you find the place too noisy and confusing for a large dinner like that? I am having second thoughts on this place for dinner. Also, did you include drinks in your dinner or just the soft drinks that come with the dinner?

Thanks for your help.

Linda

Linda, It was fun having such a large group there. It was noisy, but it was very entertaining! And everyone said they really enjoyed the view and the entertainment! Yes, all 30 of us were at one table. One very long table! We ended up having a $350 drink tab for the drinks since they refused to seperate them! So, be aware! But, I have to say, it was a lot of fun and could not have imagined going anywhere else with my group! Hope this helps, if you need anything else, just let me know!

Day

Thanks for your response. I normally do not mind the noise and love all the things they do at 'Ohana. When we went there two weeks ago I was looking at it through different eyes (as is this where we want to have our Rehersal/Welcome party). As of now this is still our first choise and hope to have our party there. I already have little favors planned. The only problem I have with everyone at one long table is that the only people you get to talk to is the ones next to you and across from you but at 'Ohana as everyone gets up alot to play the games hopefully everyone can talk to everyone else.

I love ready your trip report and look forward to all new installments.

Linda

I was curious about the drink thing also. I guess we will just add this to our expenses. We do not have many drinkers but I know all the drinks at 'Ohana are expensive.

Yeah, we didn't really drink THAT much, but the drinks are EXPENSIVE!!! And they really did REFUSE to seperate the drinks. So, just be prepared for the bar tab in the end! All in all, though, very fun!

I was thinking of making some sort of menu cards to place in certain sections of the table (or maybe one per person on their plate) and listing what is included and stating that only softdrinks are included but that seem kinds of cheap to do considering almost everyone will be coming down from NY and NJ and spending alot of money to attend our wedding.

I did that when I threw my boyfriend a 40th birthday party at a local italian restaurant. On the menu cards I stated that beer and wine were included. As it was a Sunday lunch I only had one or two people order other drinks.

I'll have to wait until it gets closer and figure out how many people will be attending and I am sure I will include drinks.

Thanks for your help.

Ok, so the Day EVERYONE has been waiting for! The Wedding Day!

May 17th, 2007

Ok, so the night before, I set the alarm for 8:30 AM...So, at 8:17 AM Dennis calls!!!! Of course! Man, I just hate being woke up before I have to! Oh well! He's lost his drivers license and several other things it seems and needs to send his mom to get them. Ok, might as well. And that's when it starts, I hang up and the phone rings again, it's my mom..."What are you doing the cosmotologist will be here in a second?" Then a knock on the door...it's my MIL and she's come to look for Dennis's things. When she leaves, moments later there's another knock on the door, it's my mom and my dad (my step-dad is feeding the little girls) and they want to know what I want to eat, I don't know, I don't think I can think right now. "Do you want a bagle?" "Sure" So, they leave, and then the phone rings, AGAIN... Can't I even get dressed?!!! It's my sister telling me Ana's there! (with Beaute Speciale) Ok, time to go. Wow, so this is how this day is going to be!!!

Ok, so I hop in the motorized chair my Grandmother is letting me use and head to the other side of the building where everyone's rooms are. (my room is in the same building and on the same floor, but on the other end!) Anyway, once there they ask how I want the BM's hair...great more thinking! So, I explain, sort of, what I was thinking for their hair. And she gets to work! My mom has two rooms that connect. So, we have two rooms to mess up, it's great! Carolyn Allen's is also there steaming the gowns and they brought the stuff that didn't fit the people the day before. Using them was a GREAT idea, because everything was brought to us and we didn't have to fret about anything, they took care of it all! Well, a few moments later they are steaming a gown that had been in a house with Cigarette smoke. By the way, I'm terribly allergic to cigarette smoke. And with my Asthma, it's really bad. Well, the smoke starts to fill the room and low and behold I have an Asthma attack! Great, not breathing is a problem on your wedding day! Well, I have to leave that room but it's where my inhaler is so I have to go back in it. This is really not good. Well, I get my breathing under control and I lay down for a moment. Then MY sister thinks it's a good time to take a picture!
Disney13.jpg

Not exactly my best pic! Well, I start to feel a little better and it's my turn to start getting my hair done.
Disney21.jpg

As you can see so is my mom! Ana's doing my hair and her assistant is doing my mom's. The next pic, you can see I'm not feeling so well again. I was really glad I took a Claritin-D but it takes a while for it work. My Grandmother didn't understand, she thought I was in pain. And I was feeling like crap b/c of the Inhaler and that whole thing. So, in this pic here is my GRANDMOTHER offering me drugs, thinking it will help! lol
Disney22.jpg

We eventually had to stop and restart after they got a few more people done. I just felt really bad! My face was swollen and I still wasn't breathing that well, I just felt like I would pass out, and I was really hot. So, during this time my sister had to go help my dad get ready! He was more nervous than I was! I guess I was too busy not feeling well to be nervous. Here's a pic of my sister helping my dad so that he wouldn't cut himself or end up with a lopsided mustache!
Disney14.jpg

In the next pics you'll see my little sisters (the ones my mom adopted) getting ready...And yes my sister, the MOH, gave the Jr. BM and sister, some Champagne!!! It wasn't much, but it made her feel like part of the actual big girls group, I guess!

Disney25.jpg

Well, I start to feel better and my sister returns and she's bearing gifts! She has a gift from Dennis! Yay! I can't wait to see what he came up with! I work in a Jewelry store, so getting jewelry is not something I thought would be a good idea. Also, I had all the Jewerly I was wearing made for the wedding or it was my Something borrowed! So, I didn't want to not wear it if it was jewelry. So, he did something better!

Disney18.jpg

He got me a Beautiful Snow Globe with a Bride & Groom Dancing...It was inscribed with " You and I" and "May 17th, 2007" You and I is the song we would be having our first dance as husband and wife later that day!!! It was SO sweet! And thoghtful! I love snowglobes and this one was PERFECT! So, I sent my sister back to give him His wedding gift from me!
Disney19.jpg

I gave him a pocket watch that I engraved the back of...it has a place to put a picture in the inside too! I loved it!
