Ugh I hate when it's that time for the men. I swear they are WORSE than the women! =P

But hopefully all will work out in the end! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

As far as the dresses from China goes.. I'm going to be ordering one for our honeymoon and one for a trash the dress.. so I will keep you posted on how they turn out! ha. I should order them at the end of the summer or fallish, so we shall see.

So how long have you had your DVC? I'm trying to convince DF into buying into it NOW, but he's not going for it. Wants to wait another 5 years. =[ I need help convincing him! haha

I was thinking of ordering one and I can use it for a reception.... or a halloween costume, lol. Which site are you going with?? We're not in DVC yet... we rent points, or go directly thru disney. I really like the villas better than the regular rooms!! We're taking our wedding earnings and putting a down payment on it So hopefully by the beginning of 2013 we'll own. We may wait till the GF DVC is done--even though it's caused us grief... I still want to own there, lol!!

I was thinking of just going to my planning session alone I don't think I'll do that, but it'll keep him from ruining my ideas His bachelor party in Vegas is the weekend after so I'm kind of hoping he may not want to go and we can save some cash, lol.

So tonight I have a massage and reflexology, tomorrow I have a work outsourcing event, and Friday........ I have a dress appointment!!! I think my aunt and stepmom are visiting over the 4th of July and want to go see some dresses, so I want to narrow it to about 3 or 4 for them to see. They carry a bunch of designers including Maggie, Bonny, and Allure which I like all of them. I'd like to take a trip to the AA store, but it's about an hour away--and this one is 2 minutes away and just opened! I'm seriously getting nervous about the 16 month booking. I dunno why, but it's really freaking me out, lol. I guess because things keep changing Still waiting to hear about a private lunch or dinner... no word yet. I think that's it for today Stay cool--it's HOT out there!!!

Holy Moly!! I disappear for a few days(or week, whatev) and your life/wedding planning turns into the Rockin Rollercoaster! I agree with the other gals that you should ignore Dave and his ramblings, its clear he doesnt know exactly what he wants and is just wreaking havoc on your nerves! Boys are so dumb! Bobby does that to me all the time, in fact last week he dropped some major bombs on me..so I know JUST how you feel. Anyways, I think youre doing the right thing by just waiting it out and going to find some dresses! I cant wait to see them and your new ebay buys! I've recently had to reel in my spending because I suddenly realized Im getting married in 5 months and have 1/2 of the $$ I need...big problem! So you better believe Ill be living vicariously through your shopping binges!

Yay! Would I be right in saying to request "close to marketplace" ? When do you go in November?? So exciting!!

The only requests I have ever made is for a high floor. Since the villas are in a separate building, not sure that your request is going to make much difference, but I guess they might put you at the end of the building closer to outside door. It is a 5 minute walk at best from one building to the other. You will love the walk from Epcot.

We are arriving late on November 8th and staying the 9th (going to F&WF). Then on the 10th, we head out on a 3 night cruise on the Dream.

When will you be there?

i'm getting soooooooo nervous about the 16 month mark. now that i need the early spot i feel even more pressure. i'm sure the 2 of you have discussed colors several times, and of course when you make the purchase they act like you never talked about it before. drives me nuts!!! i book in 29 days and now he wants to get married outside i feel like he's seeing how far he can push me, lol. there's no more changing minds... i feel like i've bothered my planner enough.

Since my VR is only 5 days after yours and 1 day before Wendy's, I am nervous about the 16 month mark too. Hopefully, we all have some in our future.

the site i've been looking at is dresssale . com -- there's about 4 that i really like. i may order one just to see and use it for my PA reception. you could have gladly taken my place yesterday at my massage--what a terrible experience... more on that later. i think i am done with AA. the more girls that i see upset that their bodice is wrinkled the more i get nervous. i would have a litter of kittens if my dress was wrinkled because i literally don't have the time to deal with going back and forth to a store an hour away. is it friday yet??

I'm cranky today, so beware, lol. My veil came yesterday and it is BEAUTIFUL, I can't wait to take pix of it!! It's sooo soft and I would highly recommend this ebay seller/store. I'm very very happy with it!! It did cheer me up a little after the horrific scene at Massage Envy. I scheduled a 50 minute Swedish with added Reflexology with Stephanie (the only reflexologist). I went in, the teenie boppers were talking amongst themselves and asked if my info on file was the same... yep. They put me back in the room... you know the drill. So when a gal name Whitney came in, I was surprised. She asked if we were working on my upper back (no discussion about swedish--but that's what I booked so I didn't think to question), and said yes, that and the reflexology. She looked puzzled. She said she didn't do reflexology, and I advised I had an appt w/ Stephanie, and she said this was her day off I have nothing but underwear on and you're telling me I'm going to pay for what I don't want. Great. I was mad so I just went with it. So she started. I was thinking, Damn she's rough--but she must know what she's doing so I'll let it go. More pain, more pain, to the point I'm going to punch her... then I realize she's going against the grain... The girl in the front asked if all my info was the same... the last time I came in, I scheduled a firm pressure sports deep tissue because of a softball injury. They didn't look at my appointment at all, just went by my file. So 20 minutes into my apparent deep tissue, I just decided it was best she finish because there was no way if she switched to swedish that I could relax at that point. Those take me 2 or 3 days to recover from--I am in so much pain today I can barely think straight--but in 3 days I'll feel like a spring chicken . Of course I paid my money and tipped the girl well. It wasn't her fault, she was just sent in to do her job. I think I'm going to call and talk to a manager today--I didn't think I was going to get anywhere with the little girls at the desk last night. Grrr. Sorry, that was so unrelated, but I could have paid for my marriage license for what I spent there last night.

So when Dave came home from softball, I was joking with him about next May. Turns out, he doesn't really want to go to the planning session. This will save money by just me going, and save him from a potential boring day. He was also nervous about his vacation time since he's going to Vegas next May for his bachelor party. So maybe a solo trip is just what I need. I want to stay at BWV and get an appointment at the Mandara Spa. So now I only need 1 plane ticket, 1 person's food and spending... total win -- and lots of money saved!! If he changes his mind--no big deal, he can come, lol.

Tomorrow is dress day When I talked to them on the phone they seemed wonderful and agreed that I should take a look myself before I bring my 2 crazies with me. I think it'll be much better than my other experience.

Well while I'm in a mood, I'm going to call these people before I go to lunch. The weekend is allllllmost here Thank goodness!!

EDIT: I get a free hour reflexology session 2 weeks from now!!! Yay!

Woohooo for the weekend! Yeah I actually had a really bad experience with AA everytime I dealt with them? But I didn't want to knock them too badly cause I knew you had liked a dress there. I wanted to punch the one lady in the face. But I'm sure you read my PJ and know alll about my experience! ;D

I will be more than happy to join you on you planning trip! Ha! I can live vicariously through you!

so yesterday my minimum would have been 10,000 for 9am and 10am... today it's 12,000

i'm more than frustrated i thought i had everything perfect

i would cry right now, but i have a cosmetic event to go to downtown and i can't

i'm 26 days away from being a wishes bride and they may have just taken it away from me

I hope everything works out, I wish they could do escape but let you customize it...but that forces them to loose money..either way you give up something: money for wishes, or quality/chioce for escape. HOW FRUSTRATING!! I'm sure you and Dave will figure something out and make it work, you always do! Thats great news about your reflexology massage for FREE! Sucks that you had to suffer through a deep tissue massage to get it, but still! I am so excited for your dress trip tomorrow! Feel free to picture message me!

Second, I'm one of those girls with the wrinkle problem from Alfred Angelo. They sent back the first one, and then the second one had it to so the altered it in the store and it's great now. So frustrating but I'm glad they took care of it.

I am in a fog. Confusion, nervousness, sadness, anger--it's all there. Last night I had a Dior event and was occupied until 9pm (Fundraiser Mixer at a Conservatory Greenhouse--No Air Conditioning--97 degrees--we all wanted to throw up for the 4 hours we were there), I got home feeling awful from the heat, expecting Dave at 10pm from softball. He called and said he wouldn't be home until 11:30 because they were going to their sponsor's bar. I realllly wanted to talk to him. I was sore, heat exhausted and bummed about the minimums... I just wanted him home. So he comes home, I break it to him, and he asks if I can take Monday off to go to the JOP. Grrr. I said I'm not doing that, and if anything I would have planned for a Memories wedding this November... but if you remember a few pages back... he doesn't want to get married in 2011... last night he did At this point, I don't think I could swing a Memories wedding in November. Too much to buy in addition to the $1991, etc. With travel, dress, photography, etc etc etc.... it would be about $10,000 and I'm only planning on $2500 for our November trip, $2000 for the DFTW deposit and $350 for the photographer down payment. So that's out. If I would have known 4 months ago... things would be different.

I'm trying to sort out in my head the value of $2000. Take off $620 for the extra we would have to pay for November tickets if we wouldn't have APs (plus the extra discount for the room from the AP which will probably be at least $500), so I need to justify $880 and we're there. I also don't trust that the Escape collection won't go up in price. They already released that the Canada Escape wedding went up $400. I know in my head I'm just going to go for it, so I dunno why there's all this debate. I budgeted $11000 previously alotting $1000 for fees, etc... So with any hope I won't have $1000 in fees and will only be going up $1500ish. It'll be fine--I'll show them If I have to cut corners somewhere it'll be for things like our IoA day, or the tours, depending on the complexity of the dress, I can steam it myself, do my hair/makeup myself--stuff like that. Bottom line is this is happening. I really want a November wedding to keep our Anniversary during our favorite time at Disney. So deep breaths... it will all work out... right?

Well that's all the rambling that I have the strength for right now!! I'll update tonight after I check the dresses out! My dining report is also a work in progress over on Dining Reviews I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!!

well i appreciate you bringing it to our attention or i would keep on with my head in the clouds i really had to bring my self to logically think about it. i need the AP for november, and the AP room discount, and after that it was so minor that it didn't make sense to fret. we are so close to booking and i'm not going to let a few hundred dollars get in my way!!! when do you think you'll go for your planning session??
