Sweet Deena - Please don't make yourself ill with all this running around and stress!!! Breathe, breathe...... It seems your DF needs to get his finger out, but that is men isn't it? If it doesn't involve football or beer (or in my DH's case, golf), it isn't important!!!
Boys are Boys... I should be used to it by now

Football, beer, softball and pizza run his life
Oh my Deena McBeena.. how I love you so! =] haha.
I hope that you get the hot water heater fixed. That seriously blows.
Get DAVE's little buttox in the car and make him do it dammit! It must be a Dave thing because sometimes I feel like I'm talking to a wall with mine too. Aoy.
On thing about the notary, sometimes UPS stores have them as well? So you can try checking them out as well? they're open later?
Hope your day gets brighter and you have a good weekend gorgeous!!!!
Thanks love

UPS notary leaves at 4pm everyday

No bueno. I'm calling a bank today that stays open late. More on the rest in a minute
Deena...I have finally gotten all caught up with your PJ, and can I just say, "you are awesome!!" I can't believe all the BS and drama you've had to put up with, and how you are still plugging along getting it done! You rock!

No one should have to put up with all the crap you've put up with and especially not constantly, as it seems you have!
I definitely feel you on the DF front. I think if you're born with a weewee then you have no sense of urgency whatsoever! (unless it has to do with said weewee!

) My DF always gets it done and comes through for me, it just takes him twice as long as I think it should. (And causes me twice the stress that it should!) So here's hoping he gets it together, and gets on it!
You're getting close, and it's all going to be worth it, and you are going to have an amazing wedding/hm. Just keep swimming!!
I like the "just keep swimming" I'm going to use that when I feel defeated

Thanks for your words of encouragement--I try the best I can!! I think I may have scared him this weekend and I think he'll be in gear starting now, lol.
Aww..I'm so sorry about your water heater! That stinks! And boys/men! They really just don't get it! For DH's bday, I bought him 4 tickets to see Journey in concert, so he could bring another couple with us. His bday was in July, so he knew about the tickets then. The concert is tomorrow night. He decides YESTERDAY to start inviting people. And of course no one can come! Oh well! Tell Dave he needs to get his butt in gear!
No sense of urgency!! I hope the concert was great!! They said it was really good when they came to Cincinnati!!
Hope your hot water heater is sorted out soon.
Families can be so crappy! I honestly can't believe your FMIL.... shocking.
If you need to light a fire under Dave's bum then do it. Unfortunately it's a man thing....
on a very happy shiny note.... your getting closer! 1 month, 3 weeks & 3 days!

I'm so freaking close!! Families are nuts---that's all I can say about that. More on the water heater in a moment, lol.

I didn't get hot water until last night. If I didn't have a complete meltdown on Saturday--we wouldn't have it at all. I wanted to buy a new one on Friday. I was prepared--although we really can't afford it--but I was prepared. So I left work early on Friday, made him come home for lunch and try to fix it--no luck. I took the rest of the day because I was going to get the new one and have it installed...Instead, he had me go get parts--he goes back to work.
I am at Home Depot in a Mickey Mouse hoodie, yoga pants and I'm standing in an aisle with the water heater manual trying to make sense of these parts. I was mad. I had no clue what I was looking for--I had a feeling it wasn't going to work anyway and then this man starts yelling at me. "Um, do you work here? Can you quit standing around and help your customers?" Cue the unexpected rage. I shouldn't have acted like this but I replied, "Um, no--I have a Mickey Mouse shirt on, and I'm standing here clueless with a manual--does it look like I work here?" He replies, "Smart @ss little b*tch" I wanted to walk out---I was done, lol. Was I wearing an orange apron--NO. It's amazing how cranky a person can get when they don't have a nice shower in the morning, lol.
So finally an older man came to help me--I got what I needed, and a few lime green mickey heads from the paint dept and left. He apologized because he heard the man yell at me, lol. I told him I was sorry for being rude--but I needed a shower.
So Dave said he was going to come back to install that stuff--he didn't. That means the rest of the day Friday and Saturday morning was a no-go. Another day of a bowl-bath. Saturday--he messes with it all day while I'm at work--installs the new pieces--still doesn't work. So now I've put money into parts, we're on day 3 with no hot water. I have laundry and dishes piling up--and my hair is pissed. I was having a rough day at work and finally I just lost it. I lost it about money, about the water heater, about the alterations, about the notary, about his mom, about my stepmom, and how no matter how much he does not want to call his brother, the electrician for help---he was going to have to. He must have finally felt my stress because he has been amazing since. I just laid it all out there. I really kind of lost my mind. Again--I think it was because I desperately wanted a shower, lol.
Brother and mother are virtually the same people. He will spend the next 3 weeks texting us every 20 minutes to see if we still have hot water. Telling everyone he sees that he fixed it for free. Hanging it over our head that he figured it all out blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
As much as I didn't want to deal with that either---he finally fixed it last night and I took the most amazing 30 minute shower ever. I am a new person. Even the wreck on the highway couldnt get me down today.
Absolutely no wedding stuff got done this weekend. I could barely function. I was just in a panic the whole time. Last night we spent a few hours looking at
Disneyland stuff.
My invites are out, the mailed invites are out---his are still on the coffee table--as you probably assumed.
I'm on hold calling Macy's to get his alterations appt. Hopefully for tomorrow. I just told them I needed to make an appointment to have a Men's Suit altered and the transfered me to Ladie's Swim. Really. The guy just said to come in whenever. You know that's not going to work well--but whatever. I guess I'll drag him in there tomorrow night. Next to find a night time notary, lol.
Not too much else going on. I'm sure once his mom gets back from Florida there will be more party stuff happening. Until then--fingers crossed for no more crazy expenses--my final payment is due in 3 weeks!
It's getting so crazy close I can't stand it!!!
