Sweetie, I'm amazed at what you've been through lately and everyone deserves to have their wedding day be a happy event. Unfortunately, most people don't get/remember that and turn into jerks because it's easier than being supportive for some.

I'm glad to see that there has been a change of tide for you step-mom and aunt. Tears always work. Keep your head up and if you get down just think of what you're going through with Sandra Bullock or Anne Hathaway going through it. Maybe it won't seem so bad as long as you marry the man you love in the end.

Where to begin??? I go away for a few days and all this has happened.

First of all, congrats on the dress. Can't wait to see a picture of it.

Second, *** is going on with DFTW???? I am glad to see that it is coming together for you, but no one should have to go through this at all! It's just wrong. Hopefully, everything will be straightened out now.

Ok, now to family...I am so sorry that you had to go through the whole weekend with your stepmom and aunt. That stinks. I am sure the meltdown wasn't pretty, but maybe it got through to them. In regard to your FMIL, I don't even know where to begin. Serious drugs might help that situation.

Sorry to hear about the ulcers. I had one in college that flares every once in a while, so I know they are no fun. Sending positive vibes that you get some relief soon.

If you don't mind me asking, who was your old coordinator (I think Bill) and who is your new coordinator? Not sure if you read my recent update, but I got traded over the weekend and just wonder if you might be the bride to be named later (or maybe I was). (Just saw your pm, Thanks!! )

Thanks for your kind words You're the best Your coordinator swap was the opposite of mine. My swap wasn't till Tuesday, so I wonder why over the weekend yours was changed? She's been great. I hope everything runs smoothly for you!

So I got my email while at lunch! I'm confirmed for Sago Cay! Ceremony 11:30-12:30 (ceremony at 12) and they set my reception for 12:30-2:30. I'm glad I got my date and times... but I need more reception time. At least another hour in the middle for a pre-reception while we take pictures. So I sent my list of inquiries and she said I should hear back next week. Sounds good. My patience meter is getting better. I also asked about a dessert party since I'm starting to change my mind. I know I don't have enough people right now... but maybe I can round up a few dis'ers to eat ice cream with us?? That would help us meet at least 20 I think. I feel like I'll regret it if I don't. Is UK Lochside or Terrace better? I forget.

Today I've been messing around with a website on the Knot--I don't like the Knot--but I need a quick, free website. Yesterday I started our Honeymoon Registry. I used our planning session reservation number and will update it later--but at least the ball is rolling. Still waiting to hear back from Misty and Carolyn Allens--and I think vendors will be all taken care of if all goes well.

I think that's all for now. Tomorrow's Friday already!!!

Well if you need a few extra bodies for a dessert party I'm always willing to help haha. They have locations for smaller parties too...I think morocco? We liked UK Lower better...right on the water and more room. Terrace looked cramped and has those umbrella tables that can't be moved.

Yay for getting Sago Cay!! I did an online request for Carolyn allens and heard back the next day, so you should hear from them soon. They scheduled me for the morning of the wedding but couldn't give me pricing yet and said to check back in February or March.

Yes! I am now scrambling to get on all our vendors calendars! I think it's because we've been waiting so long to be official that I finally feel like we can start making "real" plans. Like this wedding is actually happening now and not just a dream! Who will your officiant be? It's so important but for some reason I've put very little thought and energy into it.

Huh? Who knows? As long as Bill does what he is supposed to for us, no one will get hurt. Bill did call me after we got home in response to a message I had left Diane, so maybe that's where it started. He did call within a day, so I give him credit for that.

Okay, enough of me....CONGRATS ON GETTING YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL!!!

I vote for Lochside for the DP, that's where we will be the following Saturday. And having the ice cream party! Wish I was going to be down there that early (coming down on Wednesday the 7th) to join you. I am sure that you will find a lovely spot regardless of the number of guests.

If you don't love the knot (they were much better when we first got married 9years ago), there are a couple of other sites that might be better for you. Weddingwire, weddingpaperdivas are just a couple I found on google.

Guess I should get cracking on calling Carolyn Allens. It's at least something we can do while Disney moves at what seems like a glacial pace. Paul can't wrap his head around the fact that we desperately want to give Disney money for this and they keep putting it off. Disney never NOT wants our money!!!

Can't wait to hear more. Fingers crossed that it's all smooth sailing from here on out.

I really think it would complete the day and the experience. We'll have the money to do it--so why not. Everytime we go and we see them... and after it's all over I know we'd regret it if we didn't!

Well I'm glad it's not just me! I've been like a psycho planner all week. I have about 14 projects wide open, lol. I need to make a list and take one thing at a time! I was in contact with Jack Day last year, I feel really confident about him. I just need to email him to let him know we're 12:00 and not 5:00 now.

Not much happening today. Last night I started our DFTW Facebook thing, didn't get far cuz meds kicked in and I was out cold. Today Zazzle sent me an email for 50% off invites... of course I thought I was done with them, but now with the DP I need to tweak them, etc so another wasted coupon I'll tweak them and wait for another to come around.

I sent a request on the DiSigns board for a Hoodie Logo. I think as a favor we're going to do Hoodies and have everyone wear them at the DP. Dave does NOT want to wear his tux all day, and I will freeze to death in my dress---SO---everyone will have black hoodies with lime green screen print, and we will have lime green hoodies with black screen print. The DP theme will be lime green and black. This will also assist with our stubborn family and friends who insist since it's Florida that it will be warm. I also think it will be fun to have it casual and more "us". Thoughts?

This weekend I'll work more on the sites and invites. Have a great weekend everyone!
