Lunch: T-Rex vs Rainforest at Disney springs

which do you recommend? Food quality, atmosphere...have a 5yo and 3yo. Thanks!

We've only eaten at the AK Rainforest, but of the two we liked T-Rex better. The dinosaur theme was cool and I thought the food was just slightly better. They have seasoned waffle fries at T-Rex and they were so good - I joked to DH that the next time we ate there I was just going to order a big side of fries.

We always do T-Rex. There are Rainforest cafes here, but not T-Rex so it's something we can only do at Disney. The "show" at Rainforest is much less interesting too. Love the dinosaur theme, but, it's very loud, and could be scary for young kids (it's quite dark). We took my 2 year old and he was fine though.

TRex is more unique...I love the dinosaur theme. Food has always been pretty decent.

T-REX. Food is slightly better. Rainforest was almost inedible last time I went. Both are loud but kids seem to like T-Rex better.

Was last at TREX with a 7, 6, 5 and 1 year old. They loved it and I joked with my wife that I think the Guacasaurus burger was the best thing I ate on that trip other than breakfast; even after doing at least 1-2 TS every day of the trip.

T Rex has a store of course and my daughter always loved doing the break a geode, but be warned that last I knew they also had a build a dino section too (like build a bear).

Don't really care for Rainforest and the only experience I have from T-Rex is old. In 2008 my daughter made us eat there, she wanted a stuffed Wooly Mammoth for her huge elephant collection, as I remember the food was pretty good but the place was very loud.

Another vote for T-rex. Was also surprised that the burger was really good.

Took my nephew to trex at 6 he loved it. He was ok with rainforest at 8, but he said that when we go back this year (at 10) he wants to go back to trex. That at chef mickeys are the two restaurants he said he really wants to go to.
