I am thinking about spending my CC day at the adult beach, since last time we were at the family beach for the entire day. Is there lunch served over there too? Or do you have to hike back over to Cookies? Also does the tram take you all the way over to the adult beach? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

yes the second tram takes you all the way over to the adult beach...(it boards from behind the family beach somewhere)....

and yes, lunch is served there...

i highly recommend the adult beach......it's beautiful and peaceful.....much nicer than the family beach (in my opinion)...

also, the massages in the cabanas there are wonderful....

I believe that lunch is served at the adult beach, but its different than Cookies. We spent the morning at CC walking around, shopping and parasailing. Then we had lunch at Cookies and headed over to the adult beach after that. The tram does take you over to the adult beach and back. Enjoy!

well, i think we will be doing the adult beach, because this will be my one opportunity with a friend, and we are both going to enjoy our trip sans husbands and kids...

I love to snorkel, so I am a little worried that the snorkeling will not be as good there though...

I found the snorkeling at the adult beach to be different from the family area. The fish were smaller, but there was more variety. The wave action was slightly more. I didn't know it then, but I hear there is a wreck (airplane?) further out. next time I'll look for it. I spent about an hour snorkeling at the adult beach, and maybe 1 1/2 hours at the family beach, but enjoyed each equally.

The food selections at the adult beach lunch were VERY tasty - I love grilled salmon. I will try Cookie's next time, just to check outr the difference, but I enjoyed both the food and the quiet, peaceful ambience of the adult lunch area.

CC was great!!

If you start out in front of the first Massage Cabana and swim straight out you will find the junk in the water and probably some fish. I have heard it called an airplane wreck but it looks like an engine block and some water pipe that someone threw out to me.
You will be about 50 to 70 yards off the beach before you see it. Be sure and wear a vest or take a float.
I agree that the Adult Beach is beautiful but we have never done lunch there. We always leave our stuff in our chairs and go back to Cookies for lunch, do some shopping and then come back to the beach. If you wait too long to shop some of the Castaway Cay merchandise will be gone.
Have a great trip.

do they have life vests over at the adult beach, or do I need to grab them from the family beach and take with us? Thanx to all of you have posted.

Lunch at the adult beach was GREAT! No lines, very quiet, a choice of burgers, chicken (I think) and salmon sandwiches, and all-you-could-eat GRILLED LOBSTER tails! The lobster tails were wonderful--sweet and tender, much better than the ones we had for dinner the night before, which were overcooked and tough.

They also had several salads, plenty of fruit, and the same peach frozen yogurt that's available at Cookies... The only complaints I heard were that there were no veggie burgers (which were available at Cookies...)

From what I understand, the lobster tails at lunch on CC are only on the 7-day cruise. But although it is much more limited (only a couple of kinds of salad and fruit for dessert rather than cookies & cakes too, in addition to the steak sandwiches, burgers, and salmon), it is very convenient to be able to eat at Serenity Bay. Also, they recently added frozen yogurt machines (they have 'em at Cookies too), and the frozen peach was delicious!!
