Looking for some recommendations on lunch for our arrival day. We have an early morning flight and will probably get to the resort around noon. We aren’t doing the parks on that day, so preferably a restaurant at one of the resorts that we wouldn’t need a reservation for, or something close by since we are renting a car.

I know there’s a ton of options at Disney springs, but we are going to the Boathouse for dinner there, so we were looking at doing a light lunch at one of the resorts.

TYIA!

Grand Floridian Cafe for the convenience.

I 2nd Wailulu and I have not been there yet...its on my bucket list for my stay in June.

Boathouse when I stay at SSR or Summerhouse.

Geyser Point at WL...very good.

Rivera Resort...Bar Riva, Le Petit Cafe and Primo Piatto....then take a ride on the Skyliner to Epcot and walk around the Boardwalk area.

Enjoy!! :earsgirl: 👍

If you have a car or willing to ride share, Sanaa at AKL, if you don’t have time to go there later in the trip.

GF Cafe is my go to arrival day lunch when staying over there. Walkup availability is plentiful so no need to worry about making it to an ADR. If you don’t want brunchy food then I would do Wailulu instead, it’s walkup only.

Great ideas posted.

Are you arriving sometime in the very near future? Tired/heat - Have you considered making it a pool day and having a quick lunch by the pool? Just a thought if you have no pool time scheduled - but if not interested in pool time - definitely great suggestions above!!!

The only 2 quick serves I have gone out of my way to eat it (repeatedly) are Geyser Point at WL (when in need of downtime) and Primo Piatto at Riviera (when staying at Beach Club). Unless you really feel like riding the skyliner Geyser Point seems like a great option for you.

If weather is nice (not pouring or insanely hot) - I second walking over to Wailulu or going to Geyser Point. I lean Geyser b/c it takes a bit more time to get there and sounds like you have an open day. You may be able to drive and be allowed to park - but I'd monorail to MK and then hop on the boat to WL. This would give you flexibility of boating back to CR if you still have time to kill and want to check that out. No reservations needed for either (but less chance of a wait at Geyser).

If weather is bad and want to eat inside, I'd go Steakhouse 71 in CR. Last minute reservations are usually available - or sit at the bar worst case.

If wiped out from travel, then GF Cafe if reservations, or the GF/Poly quick service options (although after travel, I usually lean towards a more relaxing sit down meal).

Sanaa! But don’t over eat if you are headed to Boathouse that night. If it is just two of you, maybe get the bread service and one entree.
