Lunch or Dinner at Sci-Fi

I've got an ADR at Sci-Fi for lunch and dinner and trying to decide which one to cancel. Lunch is at 12:05, dinner is at 5:30. Fantasmic will be at 8:00 that night. I'm planning to be in the Fantasmic arena at 7:00. Am I cutting it too close with dinner? I'm not entirely positive we'll be in the park at lunch time - we're hopping between Epcot and MGM and may possibly still be in Epcot at that point. But we could make it happen if we had to.

So, anyone have a preference?

I prefer a late lunch at Sci Fi. I like the menu better. Over Memorial Day weekend, we had a 1:00 lunch seating and were not going to make it (unexpected stop on the way to Disney World). I called and got the seating changed to 3:00.

If you choose the 5:30 seating, check in about 15 minutes early. Your dinner should not take any longer than the 45 minutes it takes for the clips to cycle through. The food comes out very quickly. But don't feel rushed to get out of there - we lingered over our drinks well after the bill was paid and the plates were cleared. And still made it out just after the film looped.
