Lunch on way to DLR (from LAX)

We are heading in this weekend and picking up our car from LAX Hilton around 10:30-11. We are wondering if there are any good places to stop for lunch on our drive to DLR? We aren't picky eaters (except no mexican), but all I see on Google is the typical fast food chains and some other chain restaurants (i.e. Chilis). Just wondering if anyone knows of somewhere not out of the way, that might be something special or different?
We are a family of 3 with a 4 y.o., so family friendly is helpful.
Thanks!!

You could stop at Mrs. Knott's Chicken and browse the marketplace. There's also the food court at Anaheim Packing House. Unless you check traffic and it says it will be awful or you absolutely have to eat before 12:30 at the latest, I wouldn't stop. Or at least get as close to Anaheim as Buena Park. You're potentially putting yourself in afternoon rush hour if you take a long lunch.

In N Out all the way! I don't eat fast food really, but In N Out Burger is a special splurge for us! It's the best.

I think Mrs. Knotts Chicken Dinner Restaurant and Portos (Cuban deli) are both excellent ideas. They're not too far from the freeway, and on the way to Disneyland. Although I think Kings Hawaiian Bakery is a good idea, it's not on the way to Disneyland, and does take you out of your way.

I think King's Hawaiian has another location that's closer to the freeway. There used to be another one that closed, I see 2 addresses, but I think this 2nd one is a smaller version and not the former one. Try googling "Local Place."

Portillo's hot dogs in Buena Park, just a few blocks from Knott's. It's part of a Chicago based chain, but one of the few outside the Chicago area.

If you can get to Anaheim before 2 pm, the Original Pancake House on Lincoln is terrific. Also, your little one might enjoy Ruby's Diner on Lincoln. It has a sock hop theme and really friendly servers. Both places are about 10-15 minutes from DLR.

Thank you all so much!!! I am looking into all of these :) We did think in and Out burger for sure, but can also hit that one in San Diego! So excited!!! Now to pick!

This one is smaller and is 1/2 bakery, 1/2 quick service type restaurant. It is really good and is right off the 405 freeway. As an added bonus, it has Dole Whips ;)

#1 In N Out / Anaheim Ball Rd. If you going to get a plain burger then skip it. The go to is to ask for Animal Style for whatever burger you get. For example. Double Double Animal style. For the fries, if you want them a bit crunchy then ask for them in Well Done. For example, Fries Well Done. Otherwise, the fries will be soft.
#2 Portillos / Buena Park. A hot dog would be a good choice. I personally love the Chili Cheese fries and Chocolate Cake.
#3 Portos/ Buena Park. Expect a line and keep in mind that it is mainly a Cuban bakery that also serves sandwich /dinner type meals. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Potato Balls (Ground Beef version). Good on its own, but GREAT with Tapatio sauce.
#4 Northwoods Inn / La Mirada off the 5 freeway on the way to Disneyland. The entrees are good but the appetizers, free salad, and cheese bread are beyond AWESOME!

Knott's Chicken dinner use to be a spot, but the last two times I went the chicken wasn't completely cooked and the rest was just ho hum.
