Depends on the restaurant. Some close bwn lunch and dinner, some just meld from lunch to dinner (thinking of Brown Derby, if I am correct)

We've had the disappointing experience a few times at Grand Floridian Cafe where they wouldn't seat 10-15 minutes before lunch times ended.

In September most of our party of 10 ended up 'lunching' on the beach at GF since the only meal option was room service.

Just make sure that you plan ahead so that you are not disappointed!

Here is what the lunch times are in the WS at Epcot. Someone gave me this a while back on the DIS and it came in handy for the very same reason....
