We ate at 3 World Showcase restaurants last week. We did Akershus for breakfast and Biergarten and Rose and Crown for dinner. We loved them all for different reasons.
Akershus breakfast was yummy and the princesses were great. We had a 10:35 reservation and finished eating just in time to walk on to Maelstrom and then the Mexico boat ride. Akershus is the only WS restaurant open that early.
Biergarten was SO much fun. The food was good, not amazing, but the band was SO much fun. I can't even remember all that I ate, but it was very yummy - especially the potato soup, the spaetzel, the chicken schnitzel, and some sort of beef brisket (not the sauerbraten, which I did not care for). They also have pretzel bread. Yum. The kids loved dancing and it was overall one of the best experiences! Plus you can get a mug of beer as big as your head or a beer sampler.
We also loved Rose and Crown. We ate outside which was very nice. The feel of the restaurant is very relaxed and the food is good. We all had the Cottage Pie, which was tasty, and the potato leek soup. Both dishes were great. The sticky toffee pudding is very good too.
We'd return to any of those restaurants in a heartbeat.
