We are doing the dining plan this year and I have been the one elected to do ALL of the planning. :scared1: This is good in a way but I just want everyone to enjoy everything.

Anyway, we are going January 13-23 and Jan 21 will be the younger nephew's 6th birthday. We have dinner planned at Chef Mickeys for that. Everything else is pretty much whatever I want to do. I have made the following ADRs for supper

Tony's 6:10 (arrival day)
Boma 6:15 (MK open til 1:00 am if we want)
O'Hana 6:20 (back to room after supper)
50's Prime Time 5:20 (DHS open until 10:00)
Whispering Canyon 6:50 (probably back to room after supper)
Le Cellier 4:55 (epcot open til 11:00)

The plan was eating breakfast light in the room, lunch CS at whatever park we are in and then back to room. Then go to supper and if there is a park open go there. But then I got to thinking we may just want to do lunch for a TS meal. I am trying to get us as much time in the parks as possible with breaks in the afternoon and sleeping a little late one or two days.

Any suggestions?

We debated on doing some of our TS meals as lunches this visit, but we ended up leaving them as our evening meals and we were so glad! It was such a great way to take a break if we were going to stay in the parks late or the perfect way to end our day. It looks like you have great options selected!

Personally, we like doing a mix. We did mostly dinners 1 year and there were a couple times I thought DD (4 at the time) was going to fall asleep in her food. The following year we did a mix and I liked that better. We had a couple evenings free. HOWEVER, this was during August and the parks were open late. It was nice to take a break during the brutal heat. I would think that in January dinners might max your time since the parks often close early. If you are unsure, you could always do mostly dinners and just change 1 or 2 to lunch.

I like to do a mix too-some lunch/some dinners.

I also have to say that I'll be at WDW celebrating my youngest DD's 7th birthday on January 21st. She wants to go to the California Grill for her birthday dinner.
