lunch dessert for CS in Mexico

I was looking at the menu for the counter service in Mexico. I didn't see any desserts listed.

We're on the dining plan...how does that work with no dessert offered?

I suspect that this is the dessert option, there:

Churros - fried dough rolled in cinnamon sugar $2.09

there were two desserts offered when we were there in january... churros (which are delish! and safe for my peanut/tree nut allergic son!) and a bag of some sort of "cookies" or biscuits (that were not safe)...
