I would love to hear from any of you that have eaten lunch/dinner at GF, we didn't have plans on eating there but to be able to get the "mini"-cake for dessert, we have to eat there lol. I'd prefer lunch before dinner, any comments/reviews on lunch?

Thanks!!

Which restaurant are you considering?

We had lunch at the Grand Floridian Cafe in May for the first time, only because I was surprising my mom with the Glass Slipper desserts, and it was the most affordable dining venue there ;)

We had an incredible experience. Our waiter was the BEST we had ever had, he was the picture of Disney magic. The food was delicious, big enough to share, and the environment is bright, clean, and relaxed. They were able to make a big show out of presenting the slipper desserts for us, as well, after I stopped the hostess and told her I had ordered them as a surprise.

If you want a relaxed, light lunch, I think its a nice place to dine =) we loved it =)

GF Cafe is a favorite of ours for both breakfast and lunch. Always great service & food.

I believe that GF Cafe and Gasparilla's are the only things open at GF during lunch. I agree with the previous post on GF Cafe - plus it's not very crowded at lunch. 1900 Park Faire has a great character breakfast (though the caliope can drive you crazy  ).

The GF Cafe is a quiet, underrated place to eat. I ate there for the third time three weeks ago with my parents. The service was spectacular, and the sunlight filtering in from the windows is very pretty. Try their Reuben sandwich.

The Cafe has finally reopened for dinner. I'd love to read reviews.

We are also so happy they reopened for dinner and hoping for some reviews as well. Try their spinach dip - EXCELLENT!!!

Everything you get here is presented so nicely. We see they just changed their dessert menu and cannot wait. We will be doing dinner there first night and lunch last day!

My husband & I had dinner there the first week of May. It was excellent & the service was the best ever. I didn't think it was overly priced. We are planning on eating there again in September. We ate there because I had order the glass slipper desert & we ended up loving the restaurant.::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

My very favorite Disney sandwich (other than a burger at Beaches and Cream) is the open-faced club at the GF Cafe, a monster piled high with onion straws ... I think they call it the Grand Sandwich. Ooh, babe, it's some kinda good.
