Lunch at Crystal Palace

What is lunch like at the Crystal Palace, the good, the bad and the ugly?

Must be good! I have been trying to get a res there for 3 weeks!

I had lunch there this past April. I haden't been there in years...We liked it very much nice varity of food and it was relaxing and the characters came by more than once and remeber I was there during peek time.

we had lunch there october 2nd- it was great. we had also done dinner in 2005. food seemed the same, and was yummy. tigger was cranky- but everyones allowed a bad day! lol it wasnt crowded but we ate at 1130, vs actual lunch time. when we got there there were several empty tables. the characters all took pics with my kids and signed autographs. the only thing we missed was the parade aroudn the restaurant, but after beign there for an hr and a bit we didnt want to wait any longer.

one good thing was lots of fruit there to eat, so we took a banana for both kids when we left. um yeah bad idea...bananas and really hot sunny day....brilliant!!!

We have ate there for breakfast and we did like it, but I was'nt so sure about lunch. I guess I will keep my ressie there. I was wondering if the lunch and dinner menu were about the same. I would love to try some of the red velvet cheesecake, sounds yummy.

The lunch at CP was our favorite TS meal during our September trip. The waiter was attentive and made sure we knew exactly how the characters would rotate around the room. The flank steak and pork loin at the carving station were fantastic! Yummy mashed potatoes and a decent amount of salad selections.

Lunch and dinner are very similar. They have peel and eat shrimp only at dinner. They also have more hot dishes at dinner and usually at least one more meat selection. There are also more dessert choices with dinner.

We go to CP every trip and have both lunch and dinner and they are both good. Outstanding cuisine? No. But good decent food.

We did it as a last minute walk up... we had one TS credit left and thought we'd try our chances for lunch.

We had already had breakfast and had met all of the characters then, so we wern't focused on meeting the characters this time around.

Food wise, it was VERY good. We remarked to each other several times throught lunch how good the food was, and how surprising it was considering it was a buffet. We saw plates of food being changed out and refilled constantly and when the server saw we were ready to pay the bill with no dessert, he brought us two cookies wrapped up "for the road".
