Lunar eclipse Saturday November 8

I just read about the Lunar Eclipse that is going to occur Saturday night.

We are going to try to watch it. Hope it is clear and not cloudy.

The moon looked odd last night. Not sure if it was do to some clouds but there was a rainbow around the moon and then on the one side a bluish color

Spinning, the old wife's tale I always heard was that a ring around the moon meant snow was coming.

It is a clear day here and the moon was beautiful at 5 AM so I hope to see the eclipse tonight.

Breezy Carol! Bit you tongue! Can't have snow yet we just done done enjoy about seasonal temps! Today it is very cold I think tonight it is suppose to go down to the 20's! BURR~
I love snow but I just don't want it before Thanksgiving!

I am with you Spinning. Where are you in PA? I am right in the northeast corner of Maryland about 1 hour south of Philly.

All this talk of the moon makes me think of yepod.

It is a cold clear night in Ct. No reason to miss the eclipse here. It is definately looking like part is missing!

We are watching it right now. It is such a clear, perfect night for it. The reddish hue was beautiful.
