So going through my Disney movie list and I realized that some of these films have moments where your eyes start to smart and water up. I mean, those heartfelt moments. So, this is a corny thread. What Disney movies tend to make you a bit teary-eyed.

I got teared up watching Bambi where his mother died. (sniff)

When Mufasa died and Simba came to him (sob)

When Ariel said "I love you Daddy" in the end of Little Mermaid (Wail)

What moments would you like to add to this list?

I tear up at the end of Meet the Robinsons every single time I watch it. You know the part....when they show the Walt Disney quote. Gets me every time, and I'm getting choked up now.

The point in Lilo and Stitch where Lani believes Lilo will be taken away by Social services the next day and she is trying to say goodbye and comfort her little sister by singing to her...

Lilo and Stitch when Stitch realizes he has no family, before he sees that Lilo wants him.

Dh thinks I'm crazy, but in The Fox and The Hound, when the old lady takes the fox to the preserve and drops him off, I completely lose it!

I cry at a lot of the Disney movies...I won't admit it, but I'm kind of a sap :ssst:

The one that gets me every time I watch though is Dumbo. When Mrs. Jumbo is locked up and Dumbo crawls in her trunk and Baby Mine is played...oh man, I sob like a baby.

Dumbo.......when mom gets locked up and the Other Elephants ignore him....also "Baby Mine" Scene.....

Lion King.....Mufasas death

Bambi....mom's death

Lady & The Tramp......Trustee getting run over

Fox & The Hound.....Old Lady dropping Tod off into the forest

Lilo & Stitch....when stitch says "this is my family....is little and broken....but still good....yeah still good"

I have a lot more I'm sure but these stand out up front......Disney has a way of touching your heart:goodvibes

Dumbo- Momma being taken away from dumbo, then dumbo and mommy being reuinted and her swinging him.

Old Yeller. When Old Yeller is put down

It would be easier to come up with a list of Disney movies that don't give me a lump in my throat. It would be much shorter.

All of the ones listed. Dumbo makes me sob when his mom is swinging him in her trunk. :sad1:

In The Parent Trap, when Hallie and Annie figure out they're sisters. I'm ashamed to say I cry buckets every time.

Ditto for me...I cry at pretty much every Disney movie at some point, for sad things, for happy endings.

Although a few that stick out as especially bad though are The Lion King (multiple scenes with the stampede scene the worst) and Dumbo (again multiple scenes), and Finding Nemo.

Me, too! Love Meet the Robinsons. Also, of course Bambi and Dumbo. Pinnochio, any scene with Geppetto after he's lost Pinnochio.

Monster's Inc when Sully has to scare Boo. Wall-E in general makes me cry.

Yup, I could go on and on....

Dh thinks I'm crazy, but in The Fox and The Hound, when the old lady takes the fox to the preserve and drops him off, I completely lose it!

Oh my gosh! That was the first thing that came to my mind too! So sad! That is one of my favorite movies!

Is Homeward Bound a Disney movie? If so then count me as someone who cries at a Disney movie.

When the Shadow comes over the ridge at the end of the movie when everyone thinks he died in the train yard, I just lose it.

There is one scene in Pocahontas that just kills me. Its the ending where John Smith is sailing away and she runs to the top of the hill to see him go, and the wind blows and fills the sails. Pocahontas is left standing there, sad to see someone she loves leave her. Gets me everytime!!

Lilo and Stitch in general
Lion King and Dumbo as well
Tarzan - in the beginning when his parents are building the house and you know they are going to die.
When Kala is singing him to sleep as a baby. I thought this was such a great mother and son movie. I saw it with DS when he was 4 years old, he sat on my lap through the whole movie, it was such a bonding moment.
