Luggage

Our luggage that is only 7 years old is falling apart so we have to get new ones before we leave next month (or else use A LOT of duct tape )

What brand of luggage do you have and do you like it?

We have Samsonite and American Flyer. Both sets are hard side. The Samsonite is only two pieces, and not big, so we got a set with bigger one for longer trips. But I will only use hard side luggage. I had soft side when I was in the Air Force and they didn't last long.

I have soft sided for 15 yrs now and it is still holding up well. I think it depends on the denier of the nylon used when making it. I bought it at JCPenney's and the woman that sold it to me really knew her stuff!
The luggage is the kind that the flight attendants use. It also comes with some carry ons that are still in great shape!

We have rolling duffel bags from Eddie Bauer that are great. The opening is U-shaped so things are easy to get in/out. They're made of really durable fabric. We've taken them to Ireland, China and throughout the US and they've held up great.
