luggage transfer

Does anyone know if bell services will transfer our luggage from Coronado to OKW? I know we have never had a problem transferring from one Disney reort to the next but Im wondering, since OKW is a vacation club resort, is it any different?

Just last month we had our bags transferred from Boardwalk to WL. As long as we had them ready mid morning Bell Services picked them up from our room and they were at the front desk waiting for us(we arrived 5pm). I would call the front desk of Coronado to get times and be sure they are able to do it if you can. 407-939-1000.

They'll do this between Disney resorts, regardless of their being DVC or not.

As I recall, they don't promise having your luggage at the next resort prior to 3:00pm. (Since that's the check-in time for all but OKW and All Stars, it makes sense.)

With that in mind, be sure to pack a day bag with anything that you may need access to.

We stayed at PO for one night in November before moving to the BCV. We called early in the morning to have our bags taken. My parents rode with the bags on the large cart over to the main building. On the ride over my mom mentioned that we were moving to the BCV and the driver called a Disney van to take all eight of us and our bags over to the BCV! We were really surprised. This was wonderful because we could get ourselves and our stuff all over to the BCV in time for our PS at Cape May.

I would not expect this service again but it is always nice when you get a CM that tries extra hard to help. Our stay was very short at PO, but I have to say that we ran into the best CMs there!

From other resorts to OKW is not the problem. But if you ever want to transfer from OKW to another resort - make sure and call ahead of time to make sure they do it and if you are told they do, make sure and get a name of the person you talked to. I was changing from OKW to the Swan, I called 2 months before my arrival to make sure they would do the transfer. Was told yes, no problems and I even talked to Bell Services at OKW. When I got there and we were getting ready to leave our room that morning and check out - I called down to bell services, told them we were checking out and would need our luggage transferred to the Swan. They told me they don't usually do that (I was assuming it was to the Swan and Dolphin so I don't know if he meant in general or just to those two) and I told him I called 2 months before my arrival and was told they do it. He said he would do it this time and in this instance and next time if I call to get a name of the person I talked to.
