Luggage Transfer?

Does Disney do a complimentary luggage transfer if you are switching between two DVC resorts during your stay?
DH would like to split our December stay between two resorts, but I don't know if it is worth it. We will be traveling with our DS (4 y/o) who is a veteran WDW traveler, and it will be the first trip we take with our new baby...who will be just 6m/o at the time.

Yes, they will. But it isn't quick!! When I was at BCV and moved to POR, it took them 10 hrs to get my stuff to me. And then from BWV to POP my stuff came sometime after 6 pm. So, be sure to take whatever you might need with you to the new resort. I almost think it is worth it to take a cab to the new resort. At least that way you'll have your bags when/if you need them.
