Luggage Storage at Grand Californian

Does anyone know if you can store luggage at the hotel if you are not a guest? Our flight out isn't until late on our last day and the rest of our party will be driving home making it difficult for us to get back to the hotel we are staying at. Will we have a problem having the bell stand hold one carryon while we visit the parks (I'd tip of course)? I also thought this would make it easier for us to grab a cab to the airport.

You shouldn't have any trouble. Just go to bell services and tell them you want to store some luggage until you're ready to leave. They'll tag it and give you a receipt.
I've never had anybody ask if I was staying at the hotel, but every hotel is different I guess.
Does anybody else have specific info for the GCH?

You could probably just get a locker if the carryon isn't too big! I'm not sure, I know in Vegas at the hotels I have worked at, they look in the computer and most won't accept your bags if you are not a (pre)registered guest at that hotel. I guess I would call and ask so you dont' get stuck carting it around the parks, or try to fit it in a backpack that you can carry around!

I know most hotels hold the luggage if you are or were a guest of that hotel. I would think that they wouldn't just take anyones luggage, if they did it for one they would have to do it for all. I would suggest a locker if the suitcase isn't to big

GailT, that was my other thought. I know the luggage rooms aren't all that big (ours were cramped as could be at the Stardust and the Aladdin!) and if they accepted luggage from folks that weren't guests, there would be no room for the luggage of those that are staying there.

I'm not sure for security reasons if they would accept a non-guest's luggage. I don't think they would, but I don't know for sure.
