this may be a dumb question, but i was just wondering if there are some sort of luggage carts that you can take from baggage claim out onto the national lot. my dh and i have 2 young dds and will have way more bags than we can carry on our own. thanks for the info!!! :wave2:

I don't know, but you can call National or the airport. It would be nice if you could use a cart to lug your stuff. I remember all too well, carrying a baby in one arm, car seat and luggage in another then my husband with our 4 year old and 2 pieces of luggage while on a dead run through Atlanta airport trying to get to our gate in time. Do not miss those days!

They do. They charge a couple of bucks to use them.

They don't have them in the terminal just at baggage claim.

Yes, there are "SmartCarts" for rent--you'll need a few dollars for them, I think they take singles, but maybe only quarters, not sure, sorry.

At any rate, the stands for them are located around baggage claim, and yes, you can take them to your rental.

Carts are $3.00 to rent. They will take $1, 5 in bills but you get the change in quarters. You can also use your credit card.
