luggage on monorail or Disney buses

I realize that Disney will move luggage for you if you have a split stay, but I was wondering if anyone knows if one is permitted to bring luggage on either the monorail or Disney resort buses (not the Magical Express)? Thank you.

I don't think you'll be let on regular WDW buses with anything bigger or more luggage-y than a backpack. I've seen bus drivers tell folks with suitcases they can't bring them on.

What you can do is check out and give your luggage to bell services. Tell you are moving to another Disney resort and they will transfer it for you.

As others have said, you cannot take luggage on the Disney transportation system (buses, boats, or monorail). If you do not want to use bell services to transfer your luggage between resorts, you can take a taxi and take the luggage yourself.
